After four decades, we have manifested our longtime dream of creating the Peace Through Music Foundation. When we founded Soundings of the Planet in 1979, we had a vision of creating a non-profit whose mission was to spread Peace Through Music. Now at last our dream has come true.

Dean Evenson has always loved the paintings of Claude Monet and now he has experienced in person the beauty of the flower and water gardens that the Impressionist master cultivated and painted for 40 years.For Dean, spending five days videotaping Monet's gardens in Giverny, France was a dream come.

Leave it to Dean Evenson, one of the true pioneers of incorporating nature sounds with New Age music, to release a fantastic collection of 'pure nature' soundscapes. Featuring sounds from the four environments listed in the album title, each segment is 15 minutes long, thus making the CD a solid recommendation to your massage-therapist customers.
Dudley Evenson co-founded Soundings of the Planet in 1979 with her husband Dean Evenson. Together, they have produced over 80 albums and videos. She has been the Executive Producer, art director and copy writer for all of the Soundings releases in addition to performing her harp and doing guided meditations on many albums.
Tim Alexander is an American musician perhaps best known as the drummer for rock band Primus-and was the original drummer for experimental rock supergroup A Perfect Circle. Alexander is enowned for his polyrhythmic chops and precision drumming.

Alexander has performed in many projects including stints with Blue Man Group; ska band Major Lingo; performed guitar live with the band Born Naked; and handling lead vocal duties for his own band, Laundry.Tim occasionally performs solo shows, where he brings to life his dense, exotic musical soundscapes built upon layers of looped live samples, and featuring his massive drum set and array of gongs, bells and bowls.
In the classic style of great, onstage performers, Barabas delivers a musically eloquent experience that builds rapport with his audience and invites them to fall in love with his graceful streams of sound. Tom Barabas spent his early years immersed in the diverse musical traditions of European culture and those of North and South America.
