Emerson was very informative, and told me that my front door lock could've been picked in less than 2 minutes! (No, I will not tell you my new address. :p) His prices are reasonable and he's a very nice person. Great service - and I will call him when I want to add a deadbolt to the front door as well as some add locks at my office building.

The filing cabinet in my office was missing a key and I called requesting an estimate on a site visit and updated lock and key. However, Debbie asked me if there was a number on the lock and, after checking to see that there was, said she could try cutting me a new key for a fraction of the price. It turned out the code still worked and they saved me a hundred dollars!

Visiting the store was an even greater treat, as it is like taking a step back in time. I didn't feel comfortable taking pictures but felt like I was in the type of place my dad would take me as a boy.

The guys running this place were really friendly and easy to talk to. While I was able to get engine keys for my VERY old car, they didn't have the right blanks for trunk keys, but they recommended the right place to go to find them, so I can't fault them too much.

Definitely an old-school shop with a Mom and Pop feel that I really appreciated.

Emerson Locksmith is one of the best Locksmith's in the whole city. They have been in business over 50 years so they have literally seen it all! I am pretty handy when it comes to house stuff and I was fixing a broken deadbolt and they told me if I brought the deadbolt in they could rekey it and save me a little money. Of course I had to put the thing back on which took a little while but I really appreciated that they tell it to you straight, and also they are true experts in locks and home security.
