Welcome to Dinosaur Valley RV Park located in the hill country and on the Paluxy River. After the dinosaurs, the area was heavily occupied by the Native American Indians. Now your family can enjoy the nostalgic cowboy and Indians frontier land-themed campground with the latest amenities including spacious drive through RV spots with 50 amp full hookups and fully furnished cabins.
Services
We did it right! Each RV site has full hookups including 30 and 50 amp service, water, and sewage hook up at the site. Every site is an 80 foot pull-through allowing for plenty of room for both a pulling rig and/or a vehicle in tow. All sites have a clear view of the sky to accommodate any satellite dish.
There is a state park trailhead that will take you to the many state park programs next door as well. State Park entrance fee applies. Our onsite general store is stocked with old fashioned soda drinks, groceries, toys, souvenirs, and RV supplies. Our Dog Park is a great place to bring the dogs for a little exercise and socializing.
Spend the day with plenty of local sight seeing attractions just a few minutes away such as Fossil Rim Wildlife Park, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Historic Old Town Glen Rose, Solvaca Ranch mountain bike trail, or Big Rocks Park on the Paluxy River. Let us be your host in the evening whether partaking in our activities and amenities or simply relaxing near the campfire.

We enjoyed our stay here. The sites are plenty big for our 35ft Class A and our towed Jeep Gladiator. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Mark the owner is a very nice guy. I love the fact that there are no streetlights to take away from the beautiful night sky. Now if they could only get the people who leave their camper lights on while they sit inside to turn them off. There is a lot to see in this area. We snowbird from Alaska and we will definitely come back here next winter with some of the grandkids.

This RV Park is located right outside the entrance to Dinosaur Valley State Park. It has been open 2yrs & is fantastically set up. Plenty of wide, pea gravel roads for bike riding plus has access on back end to the State Park Paluxy River. The site has a separate Adult only & Family pool. The Oct activities were great with a petting zoo & Costume Contest. The short hayride was informative & fun. The pumpkin painting activity included paints & pumpkin for $8. Several sites got into the Fall & Halloween spirit & decorated for the Best Decorated Site. It made it nice for trick or treating for kids

This is our 2nd time to use our new RV and this place made feel I made a good choice to Buy an RV we had the best time. From the adult Pool to the night at the fire pit with live music and the easy in and out with the drive thru camp sites. Family came and stayed in a cabin that was fantastic. All the staff were great.

Great newer facility. The roads and pads are all pea gravel, we found quite a bit in the RV...kids...
Nice facilities with wifi boosters throughout the park. Family pool was very nice. Hook ups were very easy and convenient. Store and playground were good for the kiddos. Several dog park/bathroom spots located throughout. This park will be awesome once they get the shower and laundry facilities done. But we would love to come back again anytime! Extremely close to the State park and Dinosaur Wold and a short drive to Fossil Rim and Glen Rose town.

Great location close to Dinosaur Valley State Park, this park is very well maintained, nice big spots, full hookups and the new family pool is huge! Nice store with some last minute items, kids play area and dog park. Check out the trail down to the river, there was no one there when we went and had the place to ourselves! Will definitely stay here again when passing through.

Well, this RV Park quickly joined the top of our list for favorite parks. River access, separate family & adult pools, playground, super nice owners/workers, and Gorgeous night skies! We also visited Fossil Rim, swam in the river at Big Rocks Park, and enjoyed ice cream at Shoo-Fly soda shop downtown…. all was less than 10 mins away. We had looked at a few parks in the area before deciding for sure on this one. Loved it so much that we booked our next trip before leaving :)

5 stars is not enough to describe this place. This RV park is absolutely amazing place! Brand new facilities with a pool and a hot tub, the owners are super friendly and have basically saved us during the quarantine, since all of of the State Parks have closed and we had no place to go. Another great thing is that the Dinosaur Valley State park is literally next door and you can explore it at your own pace without driving anywhere. We will definitely be back!!!

I can't say enough good about this park. We had an outstanding time and no issues whatsoever.
The sites are all pull-through and plenty big enough for the largest of rigs. Our 35ft bumper pull left room for 2 more vehicles to be parked completely within the gravel area when we needed. The sites aren't packed in together like sardines so we never felt like we were parked on top of anyone, even when the park was at capacity, which is always a plus. Each site had 30 and 50 amp hookups as well as sewer and room for 2 water hoses per site. Each site had its own picnic table and fire pit which was a
