I hail from Wisconsin but am completely in love with my current home in Minneapolis! My love for infant photography goes way back to a mild obsession with Anne Geddes when I was little.

I'm Lisa, a Minneapolis photographer with a love for design and a massive sweet tooth. I spend way too much time watching HGTV (Mostly Fixer Upper reruns) and Food Network. I love cooking and not following recipes. I tend to think outside the box. I actually recently found an elementary school report card on which my art teacher wrote "doesn't follow project instructions."
Gosh, where to start? Lisa has been with us throughout our journey as parents; first capturing a maternity shoot, then a newborn session, and most recently a 6 month milestone session with our daughter Nadia. Lisa has a true gift for capturing the joys of parenthood and her work is nothing short of amazing.

We used Lisa Balzofiore Photography for our maternity, newborn and 1 year photos and Lisa did an amazing job! She was so patient with our twins and was great at suggesting ideas and also listening to our hopes and vision for what we were looking for. Lisa did an awesome job with our daughter’s 3, 6, and 12 month photos. She was so patient with both the baby and the dog! The photos turned out great and I loved the variety of shots she was able to capture (even when the baby was having an off day). Lisa’s so talented and such a sweetheart! I would highly recommend her for any photo session.

I'm so glad that we had Lisa take our wedding photos! As someone who's not all that comfortable in front of a camera, she made me feel at ease right away. Our families and wedding party had such a great time with her - her fun and positive energy is contagious! The photos she took were absolutely stunning, and we couldn't be happier with them.
