Pizzeria Mandara & Ristorante is a Southern style Italian restaurant in Wyckoff, New Jersey-located in The Boulder Run shopping center. It started out over sixty years ago, when a young man named Alfonso Mandara left his native Italy for something more and found himself in a mozzarella cheese factory in Brooklyn. Little did he know what he thought was already his American dream come true would soon far exceed anything he could have ever imagined.
Pizzeria Mandara brings the best of Italian Comfort food to Wyckoff. Where brick oven pizza, slow-cooked sauces, family recipes and classic Italian favorites come together. Grilled and marinated skirt steak sliced thin and layered with bacon, arugula and our fresh herb aioli on toasted ciabatta bread.

Maybe a mistake or an omission happened. When I got the pizza home it was made with the regular crust instead of the thin crust that I ordered. We were so hungry we ate it. It tasted okay other than the spongy crust it had. Next time we'll stick to the Amy's thin crust pie rather than spend $29 on this one. In hindsight, when dissatisfied with a food order it's best to call the business to alert them of the issue.

We placed a pre order for New Years Eve at 2:30 for our meal to be ready at 7:30. When we arrived, we were told it would be an additional 15 minutes which we were fine with because we understand kitchens can get backed up and it was a holiday! However, after 15 minutes we checked on our order and we were told an additional 20 minutes. After 45 minutes our food finally came out, the staff was rude and uncommunicative about wait times and our frustrations. This situation is even worse because this exact same issue happened with another takeout order we placed a few months ago which was ready 45 minutes

Food is amazing however their systems gotta be better during dinner. Ordered ahead and was told it'll be about 1.5 hours which is understandable since it's New Year's Eve. However upon arrival I had to wait an extra 1 hour and 3 minutes to be exact. Pizza cold since the pizza has been on waiting for over an hour for the other orders. The people in the queue to pick up are pissed because everyone was told over an hour to pick up and all have to wait an extra hour. I would definitely reconsider ordering from here if it's a busy night or a holiday otherwise food is definitely

Pizzeria Mandara is a fairly large Pizzeria / restaurant with lots of seating, every time I've visited I've never ran into an issue of having to wait 30+ minutes for my table which is gold especially when you make plans to visit on the fly.
Service is spotty to be honest, on some visits I'll have the most attentive waiters/waitresses however on others I'll have those who lack social skills and basically forget to check in.
Pizza's are delicious - my favorite is the vodka pie, but you can never go wrong with a plain cheese pie though my husband would argue that the best

Food is good but staff is not accommodating. There was 2 of us for dinner and the restaurant was 1/2 full.
I asked for a booth (2 out of the 3) were empty but they wouldn't let us sit there because there had to be 4 people To get a booth.
1/2 hour later they sat 2 people at the booth and the other booth was empty rest of the night .......

The. Best. The Salami and Hot Peppers pizza is something I wish a human could eat everyday (wishful lol) The staff is always very pleasant and the service is great! I've seen the owner walking around and during outdoor seating for covid she decorated the tent so nicely with flowers and such. Awesome place! (Also GET the Bocconcini Fritti!!)

Very disappointed. Haven't been here since the pandemic, but decided to try it for outdoor dining this afternoon. We arrived around 3:30 and were the only ones there. Service was very slow, not at all friendly and the food just wasn't the same. It took more than 40 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did, it was cold. We were told that it was due to the "wind". Huh? After we were served, nobody came to ask if everything was OK or if we needed anything.
I don't really understand since restaurants are struggling so much, I'd think customer service should be the

We've been to Pizzeria Mandara before and it is always good. We booked a table for 5 on open table and were seated right away. Our waiter had lots of patience with the old folk in our group and had personal pizzas made custom to suit what they were looking for.
We also had the Rosina (stuffed rigatoni in pink sauce), pasta arrabiatta and Chicken Napolitan. Topped it off with some coconut cake and coffee. Everyone was happy with what they ordered and full!

Fried zucchini appetizer is nice and crispy without being greasy, served with their delicious marinara.
House salad is only $7 and is huge with a nice dressing.
All four entrees were delicious- two pasta dishes and two veal dishes.
Reservations recommended.
It does get very loud just from guests talking and the acoustics of the restaurant. Otherwise a fantastic experience!

This is a very nice, very busy Italian place that I went to with my wife and in-laws on a Friday night. Reservations are a must and one taste of the food will tell you why. As a starter, they give complementary bread and the garlic knots that came with it was scrumptious. I ordered the Michelangelo without tomatoes and it was outstanding. The bowtie pasta was perfect and the sauce that accompanies it was very tasty. The menu has a lot of options and service was good. I wouldn't say the place blew me away but it was definitely very good. I would definitely try this place again.
