Surface Therapy was started in 2017 by myself, Chad Johnson, after realizing a large gap needed filled in Central KS when it came to exterior cleaning. I noticed there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of homes in every city that are plagued with hard water staining. After immersing myself in countless hours of research I learned the process to successfully remove this type of staining.
Surface Therapy is a unique company specializing in exterior wood staining and restoration. Whether it is brand new, old and gray, sprinkler damaged, or currently is peeling; we can make it look better than new! Kansas weather can be quite harsh, from the summer heat and sun, to the freezing winter and snow.

Calcium & efflorescence buildup is a common eyesore on brick, stone, concrete, and other exterior surfaces in the Central KS area. This white chalk-like residue is a result of mineral deposits being left behind when hard water evaporates from the surface and leaving the salt and lime deposits behind.
Concrete, brick and stone are very porous by nature, which means they are a magnet for contaminants, but with our specialized cleaning solutions and high pressure power washers we can effectively remove the grime from your driveway or walkway. We also have the capability of hot water power washing to wash away those soaked in and stubborn stains.

Chad was awesome, he showed up when he said. He was very pleasant to deal with. Excellent service but foremost was the before and after of our deck! We never have to sand again and the color is beautiful! We was skeptical because of the time of yr and it rained the next day but Chad was right the weather didn't affect the products or the outcome. We will only use this company for future needs from here.

Our fence was weathered so bad. Maybe it was 35 years old. Surface Therapy cleaned and replaced our top boards. Two weeks later Chad was back to stain. It looks brand new ! Highly pleased with the results! It is amazing! If you can’t spend the money to replace your fence, this is the way to go! Thank you Chad for an excellent job!

We are absolutely in love with the work the Surface Therapy did on our new cedar fence. The cedar stain they used is everything we could have hoped for. Chad Johnson, the owner, was very professional, timely and kept in contact with us through out the whole process. We would definitely recommend to anyone for their fence staining needs. When our pergola is completed on our new deck, we will definitely be using surface therapy to complete the stain on it.

Initially, we were taken back at the cost of our new cedar fence and felt that we needed to protect it from the sun, and to prevent the possible splitting and rotting of the wood from water. With that said however, words cannot describe the improved aesthetics and "coziness" now of our backyard.
Chad had been recommended to us, he came out promptly, gave us our options, answered our questions, and then follow through as promised. We are so happy that we had this done!
