Saltaire Market is an indoor market that sells groceries, fresh, organic, and prepared food, smoothie, and ice cream, and wine and liquor. I feel like the prices are relative to the region. It's nice that if you ordered more than a certain dollar amount, they would deliver food and alcohol to your house.

For the given situation of a grocery store on Fire Island I feel that the quality is amazing. However I give the customer base of saltaire 1 out of 5 stars. They walk in and feel it’s appropriate to talk down to the employees. It’s like the world revolves around them. If you feel it’s appropriate to talk down to a 17 year old seasonal worker you should probably seek therapy.

Food was ok, and Fire Island prices are to be expected. I was disappointed that the employee making the sandwiches had his mask around his chin while taking orders and bread/bagels were passed over the counter. As it is high counter he breathed all over the food. The employee did put his mask on while actually making the sandwiches, but he had already risked significant exposure due inadequate mask wearing. Saltaire market is adamant that its patrons wear masks. It would be appreciated if their employees extended the same courtesy to their customers.

Impressive market in saltaire! The menu is quite extensive and they have a lot of stuff to buy if you're renting a house in the area. I got the power breakfast bowl which was eggs, quinoa, avocado, chicken, black beans and a pico-first of all it was a HUGE portion! And second of all it was delicious! Worth the money for sure! Chicken was a little tough tho but overall it was great! The regular food shopping type items were very pricey tho!

Life saver on Saltaire. We’ve bought newspapers, groceries, pizza, hot sandwiches, ice cream, even nail clippers here. Has everything you need, but you need an unlimited budget to shop for everything here. It might be the most beloved monopoly in the world! They have to charge freight fees to bring things from Bay Shore, so it’s understandable that the prices are high. I just wish they’d mark every item or shelf with prices. Otherwise, you’re shopping blind most of the time till you get to the cashier. A very friendly, courteous staff adds to the experience.
