Tsinta Mani Choling
A Tibetan Buddhist meditation center devoted to the study of peace and non violence, mindfulness training, insight meditation, work/life compassion training, philosophical discourse, and classical Vajrayana Buddhism. The ultimate goal is to reveal the pure luminous true nature of our minds which is the source of our birthright to happiness.

The name Tsinta Mani Choling was bestowed by Tulku Tenzin Gyatso, one of the head lamas at Larung Gar Institute in Tibet and means: The Wish Fulfilling Jewel Dharma Center. Our meditation classes and events are open to all with many options offered on a drop-in basis. We welcome any and all, from those just curious to those seeking to discover the true pure nature of their hearts and minds.

If you are interested in opening the door to your inner Buddha, to find inner peace in the midst of our chaotic world, Tsinta Mani Choling can offer you the spiritual growth and awareness tools to do this. Lama Lakshey, the Tibetan Lama who leads this sangha with great compassion is wise beyond words and continually offers ancient and contemporary insight to all who enter and sit before him with loving kindness. Give it a try. There is a family waiting for you there. You won't regret it.

Spokane is so fortunate to have Tsinta Mani Choling Center and Lama Lakshey Zangpo here! Lama Lakshey is our teacher and spiritual guide. He is originally from Tibet but now lives in Spokane. He teaches meditation and the Dharma with deep knowledge, wisdom and humor and often shares his personal stories, past and present. He has a special ability to speak to each person's heart. Our group is made up of good people of all ages, including those new to meditation as well as seasoned practitioners. My personal experience is that my life has profoundly changed and I have grown in peace and well-being

I dropped in on one of the Sunday services. Appeared to be mostly an older demographic. The shrine room was beautiful, but what I found disappointing for a buddhist sangha was that NO one greeted me, I was basically ignored the entire time. I didn't feel welcome, so halfway through the service, I walked out, which I've never done, with any sangha I've visited in the past. Needless to say, I will not be coming back.
