Arland Tool & Manufacturing, Inc., was founded in 1948 by brothers Archie and Roland Gagnon and continues under the leadership of the Gagnon family. From modest beginnings as a local tool & die shop, Arland has grown to become a leading international contract manufacturer. Today Arland is a full-service machine shop and engineering facility.
Arland is a full-service machine shop and engineering facility. Capabilities include: engineering services, rotor coil manufacturing, precision machining, 5-axis waterjet, weld fabrication, weld inlays, PTA cladding, assembly and part kitting. Our 100,000-square-foot machining facility is equipped with more than 45 CNC Machining tools that enable us to fulfill a vast variety of customer requirements.
Arland Tool employs highly skilled welders who are certified under the ASME & AWS Code and are qualified to weld under ASME Section 9. Arland has developed and qualified weld procedures in accordance with ASME Sect. IX, API 6A, NACE, ABS and DNV for a wide variety of materials.

Arland's waterjet capability offers a turnkey solution to our customers for the manufacture of components including steam turbine diaphragm spacer bands. 5-axis capability allows cutting of complex geometries to finish size or near net shape for final machining. The 59" x 90" cutting envelope allows the capability to nest components from large sheets of material to optimize yields.
With 25,000 square feet of assembly bays and 15-ton crane capacity, Arland Tool offers a full range of contract assembly and sub-assembly services with a primary focus on quality and workmanship. We manufacture, assemble and test your products using a process-driven system to ensure on-time delivery.
