Blueguard Security, Inc. was founded in Abingdon, Maryland in 2006. Joseph Conger, Owner & President, has extensive training and experience in law enforcement and security assignments dating back to 1995. Working on a variety of assignments, President Conger wanted to create a new professional organization focusing on quality of service while at the same time providing superior working conditions for the employees.
Fixed Posts are effective in highly controlled and highly visible settings. For example, a professional building with a main entrance often provides an excellent fixed post in the lobby to screen people, credentials, and packages prior to entry or departure. Fenced property also commonly makes use of fixed posts at access gates.

Totally enjoyed my time there. Worked as a security officer as a roving patrol officer within a condo/townhome community. The hours worked perfectly with my full time job, the pay was perfect and the job was pretty easy. Gotta be self motivated and dedicated to getting the job done, as well as being able to work alone and pace yourself accordingly. I'd go back in a heartbeat if necessary. I resigned as I was promoted on my fulltime, but i would have never left if I hadn't. Kudos to Wayne C and Sgt. Stancil!!

The weekend of New Year's Eve, I was walking my daughters dog, who was in Ocean City for the New Year's Eve, when I went to clean up after him, I some how dropped my key in the snow, which I didn't discover this until I got back to my condo. At the age of 73 with a small dog I panicked big time. I try retracing our walk in the freezing temps when my flashlight began to die.
That's when I saw our security patrol from Blueguard Security. I flagged him down and he stayed with me, calling a locksmith from his own phone. He drove me back over our path, let us sit in the car to warm up. Thank GOD, I
