Boulder Bone & Joint

I had a terrible experience at Boulder Bone and Joint. The bedside manner of the physicians was atrocious, trying to schedule follow up appointments was extremely frustrating, billing was a mess, and more. I was given conflicting information and my concerns around my diagnosis were minimized. It was an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this office.

Willie Field (16 years old) here: Dr. Gagliano is a great surgeon and doctor. He is efficient and right to the point and always very knowledgeable about everything he is talking about. Boulder Bone and Joint is a great place.

Boulder Bone and Joint is fantastic as both a clinic and an urgent care center. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I came in to the urgent care center with a ruptured pec tendon that ended up requiring surgery. I had excellent continuity of care, from that first visit with the injury, to my surgery and months of follow ups with Dr. Gagliano. Now six months out, after following Dr. G’s prescribed PT plan with his recommended therapist, my pec is feeling strong and I’m returning to my sport.

Dr. Gagliano is great. Got my second opinion here, broke my fibula and i was back to running again in no time without surgery! The first opinion i got said that i required surgery and didn't really even give me a choice...glad these guys actually know what they are talking about!

I was sent to Boulder Bone and Joint after severely fracturing my collar bone in an accident. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. Megan and Stan were kind, supportive, compassionate, and attentive to my pre and post surgery needs and questions. They skillfully helped manage my pain, and have so far provided great follow up care. Dr. Michael Wertz expertly performed the surgery, and I am currently recovering well.
Should one be unfortunate enough to require their services, I would recommend this practice in a heartbeat.

Don't waste your time coming here because that's all they'll do. It says urgent care and after a referral from my doctor I came in during walk-in/urgent care hours to be seen. They said that all I needed was an ER referral to be seen and not a physician referral. Ok??? So I went to the ER and spent 6 hours there to get a referral and called the same day to set up an appointment. I was told once again by reception that this was fine, since I was seen in the ER. I arrived for my appointment today-about a week later- and I was told that it doesn't matter that I have an ER referral

This office purposefully overbooked itself after a lull in business (their words to me, not my deduction or conclusion), ensuring a multi-hour wait for services. I understand that we cannot control the speed of some services, but this absurdity was done purposefully. The behaviour was disrespectful to patient times and obligations, when they could have informed us upon booking that this would be an issue. They chose not to and removed our option to better select/schedule services or properly evaluate that a visit was needed in the first place. I regret that I used this facility, I regret paying

I had injured my wrist and told just a fracture in radial bone and only needed 5 weeks in cast but when I got second opinion at boulder orthopedics I had torn a ligament and fracture and had to get surgery with pins and had to be in cast for 8 weeks plus rehab. Not knowing, delayed issue by month once I got other opinion.

Couldn't be happier with the care that I received at Boulder Bone and Joint. Dr. Gagliano and his team were friendly, efficient and professional, therefore, would highly recommend. Broke my wrist mountain biking early Feb. My wrist required surgery, a plate and 8 screws. Big thanks to Dr. Gagliano and his team for fixing me up so I could get rolling again.....

My experience with Boulder Bone and Joint was an overall positive one! I had dislocated my shoulder over double digit times, and after dislocating it in my sleep, I knew it was time for surgery. I was nervous since I had just moved to CO, and did some research on who would be best to perform my surgery. BB&J kept coming up, specifically Dr. Gagliano's name.
The overall staff was helpful, answering my questions from scheduling to billing. After my surgery, PT with Ingrid was exceptional. I highly recommend Boulder Bone and Joint for your surgery needs.

My mother had to have surgery twice recently for bad fracture she suffered to her leg and knee ,which was carried out by Dr.Gagliano and his staff. He did an outstanding job and she is currently on the road to recovery thankfully. It put myself and her close friends at ease knowing such a talented and skilled Dr was able to go in and fix up the damaged that had occurred- considering how bad the injury was.
If your being treated by these folks, I can assure you that your in good hands. Also, their front counter staff are amazingly helpful with any/all questions.

I would trust Dr. Wertz, Grauer, Reid, Green and Gagliano with joint surgery of any kind - they are simply the best!
