I recently had the experience of selling my Indian Scout and buying a brand new Triumph Speed Twin. I live in Gulf Shores, and D&D Cycles is an hour away. I looked during my travels for the motorcycle I wanted in dealerships in both New Orleans and Sterling (Dulles) Virginia. Both of those dealers had similar motorcycles to the one I wanted but I preferred to buy from a more local dealer, and a smaller, more intimate one.
I found seemingly better deals online but usually found ridiculous fees and prices from others that were basically bait and switch type deals. I came back to D&

Hands down the best bike shop around! They don’t care how old the bike is or the condition. They found the electrical issue with my bike in no time. Hands down best sales experience I have ever had buying a vehicle of any kind. The sales people were so patient and so eager for me to find the perfect bike for me. They listened to my wants and had no problem with me test riding bike after bike. Years later I still love my bike as much as the day I bought it. The service department is a good as sales. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I always feel taken care of.

First off I've been riding and racing for over 20 years and I love using local shops to support our riding community for future generations. I have used shops all over the US and have been lucky enough to have been sponsored by some great shops that helped me win two state motocross championships. It is with this I found D&D from a post on social media and decided to give them a shot without talking to local racers.
Communication- I dropped off my suspension and was told the turn around would be around two weeks with parts. At the two week point I contacted the shop and was told they were awaiting

I rode my Dorsoduro 900 over 150 miles from home for my service appointment with Chip. He ran into some problems, but was able figure it out and get me fixed up back on the road. They should give him a raise.
There is a beautiful 14 year old dog named Maggie laying around in the showroom, and she is probably the prettiest, sweetest dog in Florida.

This was my first motorcycle buying experience and it couldn’t be any better. The staff is professional, kind and straightforward. I was working with Shane. I recently dropped in to look at the new Triumph line. I've never had one, always been on Honda, Suzuki, or Harley Davidson. I met Shane on the sales floor. We discussed bikes for 45 minutes that day. He understood the riding I did and what I was missing with my current rides. I came in looking at the Bonneville T120, which is a gorgeous machine, but after our discussion Shane pointed me to the new 2018 Speedmaster.

I can't say enough good stuff about this place! We never planned to go here but we were looking at a bike at another dealership and had a bad experience. We almost went home but we had traveled so far & a simple google search led us to D & D just to see what was there. We were immediately greeted with a friendly (not pushy) salesman who just listened to us about the kind of bike we wanted and what we needed in order to decide to buy. Was in the market for a Ducati Scrambler, this dealership was the closest to me (I live in Fort Walton Beach). I called the shop one afternoon and talked to Shane on the phone and told him I wanted to come have a look at a Scrambler if they had one at their shop but told him I would only be able to arrive a little after closing. Due to traffic, I ended up arriving over an hour after the shop had closed, but Shane was happy to wait until I arrived. We talked over the bike and he literally did not make a single pitch or pressure me to buy that bike or any other bike in the shop, just talked to me

Brought my wife's bike to d and d and ask for them to check a vibration in the motor. They changed the grips on the handle bars without calling. Charged me for the grips without checking the motor. When I told them that's not what I ask for he got rude and said he had been a mechanic go 38 years. He didn't say he was a good one. Poor communication. I will not be back.

I purchased a new Vespa from D&D in November 2014. It's been terrific and their service dept. is second to none. Their service dept. also takes care of my other scooters, and they are the only folks I trust with my rides. I see some negative reviews on Yelp, but I am completely dismayed by them. All I have ever gotten is fantastic service and knowledge that comes from decades of riding, racing and servicing bikes.

I got treated with the upmost respect. What these other reviews are saying is just not true. The only reason I could see someone acting "rude" is if someone was rude first. I found the bike I wanted and was given all the details on it from start to finish. The entire staff ride, so you will not get a crappy opinion, since they all have ridden all the bikes in there. I have them a range and was fitted with exactly what got me happy. I don't like ignorant comments

Had a wonderful experience at this dealer. I live in middle Alabama and the two nearest Triumph dealers are Douglasville, GA and Pensacola, FL. I had been coveting the 2014 scrambler on the internet for about 2 months and had even set it on my calendar to travel to Douglasville, GA to give them a look the next weekend. I have been a customer here for over a year now, and I'll be sad to leave Pensacola just for the reason that I'll no longer be able to get my 2010 Triumph Speedmaster taken care of here. Everytime I go inside, I am taken care of almost immediately and I am continually impressed by the speed and quality of the repairs and service, even when dropping by unannounced on a busy day. It's also a plus to be able to sit and stare at all the nice new Triumphs and Ducatis while I wait. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are interested in a bike or need a fast, quality repair
