Matthew W. Johnson joined Sherwood, Johnson & Poles in 2008 after completing a clerkship at the Bergen County Courthouse with Honorable William DeLorenzo, Jr. in the Family Part. Since joining the firm, Mr. Johnson has worked exclusively on family law matters.

Diana Sherwood was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1981, and in New York in 1983. She has been a family law practitioner for more than 30 years in both New Jersey and New York. Prior to starting the firm of Sherwood, Johnson & Poles, Ms. Sherwood previously served as a partner at the law firm of Finnerty & Sherwood, P.C.

If you're unhappy with the ruling issued in your family law case, you may be able to appeal the decision. However, please note that bringing a case before the Appellate Court must be done promptly. So long as the decision is considered final, a Notice of Appeal must be filed within 45 days of the Judgment.
