I went in with questions about a warranty after spending thousands of dollars on a mower. All my questions got me was an incredibly bad attitude from the guy behind the counter. The place was empty and he wasn't busy. Truly inexcusable behavior from a customer service rep.
I was eligible for warranty service, but decided against it because I don't want to give them my business. I bought local for good service... I was wrong.

STAY AWAY!!! Absolutely terrible customer service!!! Everyone knows they are overpriced but their is no other option so you are stuck. Today my son was picking up a chainsaw. The saw was not fixed. The person behind the counter became irate when he was asked why it wasn’t covered under warranty. He then resulted to SCREAMING ‘ operator error operator error’. Ok so even if it was operator error ( which I don’t think it was) acting like a maniac was uncalled for. Please take the ride to Fredricksburg for your small engine repairs. Terrible service terrible warranty!!

I purchased a mower recently from Gateway, I called and talked about a mower with a young man. The young lady called me back and ran all my financing over the phone. Hassle free and so convenient. I ended up going into the shop the day after mower purchase for some additional information and the gentleman at the counter was extremely helpful. New shop set up is 100% better and more eye catching and the new employees at the counter are so much more efficient and actually know what they are talking about. I have used Gateway Power for many years. They have always been friendly & performed great work. My mower always comes back looking almost new. I would highly recommend these guys for any repair. (06/15/2015)
I just had the worst experience at another dealership!!! I will never cheat on these guys again. Not only did they have the part I needed for my Honda mower, I was able to pay for it over the phone, & they placed the part in an area to where I could get it after they closed. I know when I am looking for another Honda, ill definitely be going to Gateway. (02/28/18)

They kept me waiting for a month and my lawnmower still wasn't fixed when they gave it back to me. I wound up having to buy a new lawnmower because I couldn't wait to cut my grass anymore. I gave the old mower away to somebody else who told me the only problem was too much dirt in the engine, which they were able to clean out.
