Over the past year, you've trusted our family and good4u Crew to help you keep your pantries and fridges full with all the essentials you need to keep your families healthy. They each made it with a twist: one with pineapple, the other added vanilla, and sometimes a dash of bourbon. Cranberry sauce, grandma's special recipe-it was a tradition to be enjoyed once or twice a year, with the whole family gathered around the table.
The deliciously unique flavor of each version is evocative of the woman herself, a memory that lives on with every subsequent rendering of the recipe.

From the smallest detail to the largest, whether it's refrigerating our nuts and seeds for freshness or only selling 100% organic and GMO-free produce, pasture-based dairy, and antibiotic and hormone-free meats. Margaret and Philip Isely, struggling, idealistic young parents, started Natural Grocers with $200 and a dream-a dream that everyone should be able to afford a healthy and active lifestyle.
We are dedicated to improving human health, the health of the environment and ensuring a robust economy - the triple bottom line of regeneration. Has the best gluten free options!!! So wonderful to see vegan, vegetarian, and many other options!! of course it's a bit expensive but less than whole foods and sprouts + it's a very inviting place, with lots of clean body, bath, and self-care essentials & products. My absolute favorite place to shop :)

Omg. How hard is it to be a cashier? Doreen took 15 minutes of my time ringing and unringing my groceries, couldn't figure out the coupon system. She called for backup cashiers who literally checked out 10 other customers in the time she was still trying to figure out how to do my order. I literally walked out. If someone is in training, consider having them call for help.

Natural groceries, thank you for carrying soup to nuts, cards, jewelry, fresh fruit and vegetables, besides all the vitamins. You have been my place to shop at for many years. I remember where your first store is in Colorado and that used to be my go to place, now you have many, in many locations.
Eamon and Andrew you really made my day. Your personality and friendliness and how you were willing to share information about your store was amazing.
I WOULD RECOMMEND.

I just LOVE this store! First of all, I love that all of their produce is 100% organic. I also love that they don't mess around with products that might "look" healthy, but are really full of GMO's and chemicals. They really have the best selection of vitamins and supplements and the whole staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that there aren't more of these stores around the valley. I would shop here more if it were more convenient.

What else can I say but Kudos! Yes I shop at Whole Foods and sometimes Sprouts but I always return here. Wonderful employees and always ALL Organic Produce! I have trust in the quality of goods here. Whole Foods will not tell you anything regarding the GMO status of their non organic produce. But this is never a worry at Natural Grocers since all of their produce is Organic! It is small and family owned, not a big Corp establishment enterprise. Thank you for calling Arizona one of your homes!

I'll never go here again. Starting in November they started to discriminate against me. This is very disappointing because I used to love this store. I don't care to be disrespected, bullied and mistreated. I found a small local store in Phoenix who treats me with respect. I will spend my money there instead.

Came to Natural Grocers for the first time to shop watched the employees have an encounter with a customer who refused to wear a mask, the customer putting up a very hard fight about not wearing one even wanted them to sign something that she wrote up herself so she didn't have to wear a mask. After a long hard fight the customer lost the battle and left without shopping because she couldn't follow the rules. Thank you Natural Grocers for caring about all of your customers health and well-being. We will be back!

Does NOT enforce mask wearing. I shop there weekly and unfortunately they do not enforce mask wearing. They have a sign at the entrance but most of the people shopping do not wear masks. Word must have gotten out because the last time I went there, there were only three of us wearing masks and literally everyone else was walking around maskless. I have never once seen an employee ask somebody to wear a mask. I understand it's uncomfortable for them to do so, but it's also uncomfortable for me to shop there in the middle of a pandemic with so many people refusing to help protect the public

This location has an excellent staff. They are polite, highly competent, and well organized. Natural Grocers / Vitamin Cottage in general is an exceptional source of valuable and difficult to source ingredients, especially for healthful, organic, and vegan cooking. I am particularly grateful for their supply of salt-free tahini and organic cooking oils. An excellent shopping experience and highly recommended.

Today it was busy (too busy ) for me so I grabbed 2 different items and raced to pay. At the register a very healthy looking women and her 11-12 year old son were Not wearing a mask and 2 others had their mask falling below their noses. In the past few times it was managed better. I may not be back to shop here. I will look online for my favorite item.

Fantastic pricing. Well laid-out store. Wish I'd known about you before this.
I found Natural Grocers when I was looking online for good pricing for a staple item and was surprised to see that Natural Grocers beat the pricing on the web (where they have no brick and morter to pay for). They also have some off-the-beaten-path local brands and I love supporting small business. Whole Foods may brag about having 1-2 local items, that they usually place at the front of the store, but Natural Grocers has local and small business made items throughout the store.
And, of course, if you&apos

It's nice having a healthier grocery store nearby. Prices are a little more expensive (to be expected). They offer community education and free classes which is awesome!! Checkout is always SUPER slow - the store itself is slow (never many people inside and plenty of easy parking since lot is near empty) but they still seem understaffed. Trying to contact the store is challenging (via website).

What can I say,
I have been missing to visit this place for years!!!
The staff is really nice and it's helpful, you can feel the vibe around.
The store is well a stock with a WIDE variety of products, that I haven't find in another store in Arizona. I really loved the dairy / eggs options and the ham/ cheese section. Ohhh and
They offer discounts around the store and free health classes weekly (I think))
Bring your own shopping bags
The seeds-nuts refrigerated section is a MUST I think you will also love it!

What a gem! My UBER driver (thanks Shannon) recommended this place when she saw I was traveling to WholeFoods! And thank God! I was dehydrated and in desperate need of a remedy amidst a business conference! The staff was quick, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable!
Harmless coconut water and Max-Hydrate to the rescue!!
They had everything WholeFoods would have and more. Specialty & local ingredients, products and treasures abound! Check this place out!
