The studio is an adorable pink building located in historic Old Town Spring in the Thyme Square section. The studio is centrally located to serve clients in Houston & all the surrounding areas. There will be a parking sign designated for my studio. Take the path on the side, in-between the blue and grey buildings that will direct you straight to the studio.
After photographing everything from weddings to local business events, I realized I had a passion for babies. I've always worked with children in some way. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I was a Pre-K teacher here in Spring. I truly love working with children and feel like it really is my calling.

I absolutely love my experience so far with Amber! Her work and portfolio is just what I thought it was, simple and clean with the focus on the actual people. She’s so professional when it comes to the adjustments and angles and takes her time. And I love her little studio and her wardrobe selection. Can’t wait for our newborn/family shoot!

Loved our newborn photo session with Amber! I loved how detailed and descriptive she was with her instructions on preparation for the session, expectations, how/where to find her studio, etc. She’s also super accommodating with scheduling for the session. Her studio was clean and comfortable and she has a great waiting area with snacks and drinks available. She was so kind and gentle with our baby girl and super easy to talk to and personable. She definitely turned a sort of high stress situation (e.g. being out with a newborn) into a calm and easy session. Our photos turned out beautifully!

I highly recommend Amber Star Photography for any family photos! We did Christmas minis with her, I loved her Santa theme set up. Although, minis are 15 minutes, we only got 7 minutes. So, I just wished we had more time for our son to get use to Santa because he was in tears for some of the photos. But she did a fabulous job and she does quality work! Thank you Amber!

I searched for weeks for a photographer to do a shoot for my husband and I with our two dogs. I am so lucky to have found Amber, she is amazing to work with. Responsive, kind, caring, patient, professional and an overall an absolute amazing photographer! We could not be happier with out pictures, we never expected them to come out as good as they did. Amber was fantastic! We booked early (June for an October due ate) knowing how full slots can get with newborn photographers and she was SUPER flexible when our little one didn't arrive when we expected.
The shoot was our first trip outside of the house since leaving the hospital so that task was daunting in and of itself, but her studio was calm and comfortable. I got my maternity and newborn pictures and I absolutely love them. For the maternity she has a variety of dresses to choose and for newborn adorable little accessories for the baby. She was gently with my baby and he just slept through the whole thing. I will definitely book another shoot again.

I Highly recommend Amber Star Photography for maternity and newborn photos! She was wonderful to work with, and her quality of work is excellent! She was so gentle and sweet with my newborn and made me feel very comfortable. Loved everything about my maternity photos! The only problem was that they are all so good! Amber was super prepared for everything and anything including clothes which was amazing. There was no dramatic shopping or staying up late worrying if I made the right choice in clothes. Doing the shoot with her felt like I was hanging out with someone that I have known for years. Her vibe and preparedness, and skills are all amazing! The studio was super comfortable and super cute. I can't wait for our newborn family session!
