I've known and dealt with Adrian for years. Every transaction, which includes early spyglasses, compasses and drafting tools, has been a great experience and very educational. He always has interesting and historical items for sale. Plus, you're getting someone who has extensive knowledge of what he sells. You can't put a price on that!!

I make a point to stop at Explorer Antiques every time I visit the flea markets. Adrian always has interesting new items. He is very knowledgeable. He is always eager to answer questions and discuss the history of the instruments. I recently bought a very nice miniature surveying compass from him. I am very pleased with my purchase. I appreciate that he gives a very accurate description and he takes the time to learn something about each item. He helps the buyer make an informed purchase. You know what you are getting. This is really a top-drawer company that anyone interested in old compasses
