In July of 2016 my wife and I were in a two car auto accident caused by the other driver. We both had medical treatments for neck and back pain. I suffered personal injury due to an accidental fall caused by hotel maid's cart hitting me where I was at no fault. I hired Jacob Gent to represent me in two car accident claims.... 1 in 2015 and 1 in 2016. I sustained injuries in both 1 as a driver and one as a passenger. Thanks to Adler Giersch my family did not have to navigate the confusing process of our uninsured motorist policy. After a year or so of seeking care for my neck and shoulder injury sustained during a car accident, my insurance set me up for an IME. Let's just say this was nothing short of a staged play where the outcome to my case would be the same no matter what doctor I saw. I was appalled at the "care" I received. The IME concluded I could not continue medical treatment even though the doctor never once assessed my body or continued with a medical examination. I was rear-ended on I-5 by a large SUV, and the driver who hit me had no insurance. The accident exacerbated a previous back injury and required treatment with physical therapy, acupuncture and anti-inflammatory medication. In December 2011 I was involved in a drinking and driving accident (vehicle vs. pedestrian). I woke up in the ICU after being hit while walking across the street at 40 MPH. No amount of money will fix the damage that was done to my body but when something like this happens that is all we have. My husband, son, and I were rear-ended in my Camry last Halloween (2014). In 2013 I was in a minor car accident that resulted in a neck/shoulder injury. A little over a year ago, I was on my lunch break at a restaurant where I worked. I was eating by the window, when an old lady crashed her car through the window. She destroyed my table and the back of my chair was bent. The whole front of the restaurant was destroyed. Miraculously, the car missed me by two feet.
