Spring Back Colorado Mattress Recycling is a nonprofit social enterprise, working to achieve a triple bottom line: People, Planet, and Purpose. We are the place for Colorado to fully recycle post-consumer mattresses and box springs. By using our services, you support redemptive employment opportunities for people in our community.
Recycling your mattress is easy and simple. You can drop your end-of-life mattress and/or box springs at one of our Denver, Colorado Springs or Fort Collins collection centers, or schedule a pick-up at your home or property. Spring Back Colorado makes it easy to drop off post-consumer mattresses for a small $30 per piece fee at all Spring Back locations.

Services
Over 30 million mattresses end up in landfills each year in the U.S. Mattress recycling reduces this huge, expensive, toxic, and unnecessary demand on critically over-burdened landfills. Our mattress recycling process breaks down over 90% of each mattress into individual components (steel, foam, ticking, cotton, wood) and recycles or re-purposes them.
Spring Back Colorado is part of a network of Spring Back Recycling operations around the country. In the spring of 2011, Spring Back Recycling was born in Nashville, TN as a business plan developed by students at Belmont University. A year later in May of 2012, we visited the mattress recycling facility and studied Spring Back Nashville's business model and its application of mattress recycling.
At Spring Back Colorado, we strive to provide our employees with a stable, safe, sober, and growth oriented work environment. It is important that those looking to apply have first completed or are currently enrolled in a drug and alcohol recovery program, sober living facility, or a transitional home.

I was so pleased to find an alternative to dumping used mattresses at the landfill. My entire experience with Spring Back Colorado was positive. The mattress and box spring were promptly unloaded at the dock by a friendly and polite young man who also rearranged the remaining furniture on the UHaul truck to make sure all was secure. This person's sunny disposition and kindness brightened an otherwise long and arduous day.

I had a wonderful experience with a mattress pickup through Spring Back Colorado! Filled out the online form for pickup the next day and the mattress was gone by 8:30 the following day. The pricing was exceptional compared to many other services I looked at. I would highly recommend them and absolutely would use them again in the future!

I scheduled and paid for a pick-up on Sunday for Monday and nobody showed up. I received a confirmation for the pick up. It’s now Thursday and I have left two messages, sent an email through the website, and sent a text with no response. It sounds like others have different and better experiences but I seem to be out $65 and still have my box springs.
Update- my box springs was finally picked up and my money refunded.

Getting rid of an old mattress is so simple with Spring Back, cheaper than dragging it to the dump and way better for the planet. They can recycle virtually the entire mattress, which in and of itself is awesome. Only $30 if you can drop it off and just $55 if they come get it. The service is phenomenal - friendly and solid. And they work hard to help people that would otherwise struggle - with real jobs and purpose. Total win.

Did an online submission for a matress for pick up, they were able to come quickly which was great!
My only feedback would be regarding the confirmation email you get for your pick up date. I submitted the request late on 6/3, with my preferred date of pick up to be 6/5. I wasn't sure they would be able to come that soon, but was pleasantly surprised when I got an email on 6/4 saying that I was scheduled for pick up on 6/4. We put the mattress outside quickly, but it was not picked up that day afterall. I emailed them to see what the pick up day was scheduled to be since I was confused by the

Blown away by this great company and great people. I dropped off two mattresses which were only $20 each and actually do get recycled!! They take credit cards too.
This is important because other more expensive pick up mattress services will discard a mattress to the landfill if they can't repurpose it which isn't true recycling.
They recycle mattresses, foam, and bed frames. That means they can also recycle the foam squares that are used in gymnastics pits. Only $5 for a 90 gallon lawn bag.
I was so excited about this I shared it with Wulf Recreation Center, Pinnacle gymnastics, and

I scheduled a pick up with this company, which I will say was extremely simple. Well, as fate would have it I blessed a family with the mattresses. So I emailed the night before (June 21) stating I needed to cancel and get a refund. I did not get a reply so I called the morning of and spoke to Chris and He said he would take care of it. Fast forward to October and I still hadn't received my refund. So I email Chris and again he said he would look into it and asked for my original application and phone number. I have yet to hear back and I sent a follow up email in November. I really wanted

Just drove 30 minutes to drop off a couple of mattresses. I had to check these guys out to see if what I read on their website was for real or just a bunch of hype. I was not disappointed. I drove up and someone immediately came out and unloaded the mattresses. Someone else came and quickly got my payment. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. While I was here I got to meet some of the guys. They were all awesome. You can immediately tell they take pride in their work and are serious about recycling and repurposing all the materials. I'll happily support any outfit that finds a way to

Recycling my mattress with Spring Back Colorado was simple, easy, and the price was reasonable- exactly what I was looking for! I made my appointment online and someone was there the next day by 9 AM to pickup my mattress. I felt really good about giving my business to this company- I was able to do something good for the planet and they, in turn, are able to fulfill their mission to employ the disenfranchised and those with barriers to employment. Everyone wins!

Moving in with the fiancee who has the world's oldest bed. We planned to replace it with my newer bed, but what to do with the old one? Turns out mattress disposal is kind of a pain in the rear if you didn't just buy a new one. A friend mentioned possibly recycling, which I thought _had_ to be a way bigger pain than disposal. NOPE!
I first contacted SBC via email Tuesday afternoon just to get a quote on pickup fee from Westminster (80031). The fee was really reasonable ($25 for the pick up fee and $10 per piece) and he was able to add me to their schedule as quick as Thursday morning
