Cville Materials is the manufacturing arm of Cellular Materials International (CMI). For over 10 years, CM's people have been actively designing, engineering, and building structures and equipment for the research and development needs of government agencies such as Homeland Security, Department of Transportation, Defense Department, and a number of private companies that have a need to solve engineering problems.
Custom designed engineered railing, stairs and gate systems integrate artistic design with structural reinforcement and safety. Cville Materials will work with you and your architect or contractor to build unique railing systems in either painted steel, aluminum or stainless steel that will meet your specifications and fulfill your vision.
Wrought iron railing today is often built of ductile durable steel that is bent or hammered into elaborate shapes when hot. This type of railing can also include a combination of cast iron components which are of low ductility and can be brittle. But, when built properly, one can end up with a beautiful traditional and very strong railing or gate.
Cville Materials has built unique railings and stairs ranging from traditional horizontal railing, vertical picket railing, chippendale design railing, glass railing, modified vertical/horizontal railing as well as floating stairs with railings. Our railings are custom built from heavy carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum that after assembly and welding has been cleaned, primed with a rust inhibitor and then painted.
Catwalks and stairways are designed, fabricated and installed by our team to provide years of service for your industrial, farm, winery or commercial application. We also have experience building roadside highway pipe railing / safety railing. All follow OSHA standards in the design and construction using aluminum, galvanized or stainless steel.
