We source direct from our sister company, Fleet Fisheries, who owns dozens of fishing boats that catch scallops, lobster, tuna, swordfish, crab and more every week. About Us Report

Fathoms Waterfront Bar & Grille is located in New Bedford, MA, the seafood capital of the United States. Our mission has always been to bring the freshest seafood, best drinks and extraordinary culinary creations to our customers while providing a fun, beautiful atmosphere to enjoy it all in. Fathoms was created in 2010 by Lars Vinjerud II, a local fisherman who knows a thing or two about the seafood industry.

Very yummy for American food or seafood. My husband has fish and I had the prime rib. Both delicious. Fun place for date night or a meet up with friends. Come for the drinks and stay to enjoy the beautiful bar. A great place for outdoor dining during the summer.

I loved it. A nice view of the harbor, good food, great service. The raw clams were fresh, the seafood platter was yummy and the fish and chips were first rate.

I had the Haddock Mozambique, as recommended, by the very attentive bartender... Amazing! Not something I would have normally ordered, but, very glad I did... The bartender Tom provides phenomenal service! Definitely recommend..

We LOVED this place. Staff was more than accommodating and friendly. The place was beautiful, and the food was AMAZING. Do prepare to pay a higher bill though, especially with drinks.

My favorite hometown seafood place. The guy owns his own fishing boats, so you know it's fresh. The place is popular with the locals. You can't ask for a higher accolade from a fishing town. Everyone knows their craft, so respect and be respected. Snobs go elsewhere.

Well nice place calamari was good. The oysters were a disappointment only got 3 each was size of a nickel or smaller really a joke. Got the fried combo it was good but the portion was way to small. Wife got the honey scallops they were out standing and unique definitely worth a try. Drinks were good and wait staff wasn't bad.

The food was awesome! Our waitress Tiffany was a charm and had a beautiful smile. I have to say when my husband and I walked in, we were the only ones wearing a mask. We were going to sit on the patio but there were too many people. Place was pretty full for a Monday afternoon. So we opted for a booth inside distancing ourselves. Other than that the service was great, food was made just as I wanted it. A little pricey but that's to be expected everywhere.

5 stars are not enough. Went there for my birthday dinner first time service was too notch watriess Tiffany amazing friendly food omg perfect 10+ view cool taste all I can say is WOW

Being in New Bedford, I expected great seafood and was not disappointed. A wide variety which of course included lobster. Well worth the trip.
