Our office is located at 2645 S. Bay Shore Drive in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Our team is here to help our patients have healthy teeth and gums for a lifetime by providing top-notch dental care in a state-of-the-art facility. Our Sister Bay dental clinic offers preventative, restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry to those in and around the Northern Door County community.
Dr. John Sledge offers start to finish dental implant services to patients in and around the Northern Door County area. Looking at a smile with dental implants is like looking at a smile with natural teeth. They are the closest thing offered to natural teeth and will preserve your facial structure, restore chewing ability and allow you to smile with confidence.
At Dentistry by Design we require prompt payment for all services rendered. For routine appointments such as cleanings, exams, or any dental work requiring an appointment less than 90 minutes, your complete payment is due on the day of service. If you have dental insurance, only your patient co-pay is due on the day of service.
Bad breath is also known as halitosis. Some people have more severe cases of it than others. Some only experience it in the morning, some all day. The major cause of halitosis is microbial deposits found on the tongue. We suggest brushing your tongue with your toothbrush everytime you brush and rinse with anti-bacterial mouthwash.

My first (new patient) visit was informative and very thorough. They took the time to layout what needed to be done and gave me options. They treated me as though we were good friends- very personable and comfortable to be around. Every person I talked to was nice and seemed very knowledgeable. I look forward to my future visits! Strange to think I’d ever look forward seeing a dentist!
