Services
Magic Fred will set up a beautiful red velvet backdrop, which will turn your performing area into a theater-like setting that's great for photo opportunities. Note: I can set up this backdrop in most performing areas, big or small, as it is expandable. The backdrop is available for indoor events, sometimes if the weather is nice and not too windy, I will set it up outside, but please don't worry.

Magic Fred will teach everyone how to do a few easy magic trick with items around the house. Themes of fairy tales, mythology, and fantasy, libraries of all shapes and sizes will have a magical starting point to dazzle their communities! Magic Fred is a big believer in the value of reading, and he loves to use his magic shows as an effective tool to draw a crowd and show children the magic and wonder contained in a book.

Magic Fred was so great! He really made our outdoor backyard party for our 5yo's big day, so funny and such a great performer. He kept all the kids on the edge of their seats (which means running all over the place and jumping up and down screaming in amazement for more) and the adults giggling/smiling/laughing through the whole show. Super professional and we highly recommend! 🐰🎩✨

We had Magic Fred do a virtual birthday party for my 6 and 8 year old. Initially they weren’t thrilled about having a Zoom party but once he got started they were delighted. All of the kids were belly laughing and super engaged the whole time. They are still practicing the magic tricks that Magic Fred taught them. If you are a library or a school you NEED Fred at one of your events! He is great with communication, professional, more than reasonable price wise. The best part is he is fun for the kids of course, but even the adults said they had a blast. Even in 100 degree weather he did an amazing job. Bonus: he’s engaging even virtually!

My daughter had a very magical birthday thanks to Magic Fred! He put on a great show and all the guest were full of giggles and were engaged the whole time. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the show and my daughter loved how he incorporated her pictures and personalized it for her. Magic Fred hosted a Zoom end-of-school-year event for our elementary school in California and he was absolutely FABULOUS! Not only was Magic Fred professional and a joy to work with, he graciously accommodated our Pacific Time Zone schedule and a last minute date change. Magic Fred was very responsive and helpful from the very beginning of planning my son's virtual birthday party. He accommodated a request to chat with my son, who is a bit shy, before the party, and this added to his excitement and comfort tremendously! The magic show itself was a big hit with all of the kids- I have heard from every single parent about how much fun their child had attending the virtual party. We did a virtual magic show for my daughter's seventh birthday party and I was so impressed! My daughter and her friends were all laughing and having so much fun, and even the younger siblings, two and three year olds, were completely entertained! I could tell that Fred really cares about his performance and about delivering a meaningful experience for his audience. Many parents let me know after the show how much their kids enjoyed it, and my daughter felt like she had a real birthday party even though the pandemic has made it impossible for us to do a "normal" party. Magic Fred performed a virtual magic show for my daughter's 6th birthday. In the crowd were her classmates and their siblings, ranging from ages 3-8. Everyone loved the show and couldn't stop laughing. One of their favorite parts was the magic that Magic Fred taught them at the end of the show. They practiced for several days after! They also especially loved the tricks making the birthday girl disappear and reappear. All in all, a wonderful show for all ages, perfect for these weird times when we have online birthday celebrations. Thanks, Magic Fred!

Magic Fred performed for my K-8th grade school last week. I knew the little ones would be into it, but I wasn't sure how long he could keep the middle schoolers' attention. I was pleasantly surprised - they were into it for the full hour! My son, who's in second grade there, kept talking about the show all weekend, trying to figure out some of his impressive tricks.
It was great that he had his own set-up and sound system, as that isn't something we would have been able to provide in that setting.

I can go on forever about how hysterical, entertaining, professional and amazing Magic Fred is, but you won't know until you book him yourself.
Fred was the ultimate professional from the first phone call to the final good bye. All the kids and adults loved him. I felt like I was watching a Vegas magic show right in my very own home. Fred was funny and did some amazing magic tricks that left everyone in awe.
