Dr. Philip Engel was born in New Jersey, and his father-who was also an oral surgeon-piqued his interest in dentistry. The East Brunswick office was nice and clean. They followed Covid protocol so we felt safe. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Stern did a great job explaining the procedure. He answered all our questions which gave us comfort and reassurance. The staff followed up after the procedure and addressed any concerns. Will definitely recommend this group.

My whole experience was wonderful here! The receptionist was extremely accommodating over the phone making my appointment. The office staff were all friendly. The office itself is beautiful. Dr. Amy Tanchyk is so incredibly kind and patient. She made me feel at ease during the whole procedure, which was also painless! Thank you Oral Surgery Group!

Dr. Tanchyk is awesome! I actually went to her for a second opinion but ended up choosing her over my previous doctor. I wasn’t looking forward to getting my wisdom teeth out but I felt confident going into the procedure knowing she was taking care of me. Between Dr. Tanchyk’s knowledge and the office calling to check on me post-op, overall I had a positive experience!

I had a tooth extraction and the experience could not be any more positive. Dr. Prabhu and the staff were kind, gentle, and explained everything before, during, and after the procedure. They even followed up to make sure I was healing properly! If you need to have any kind of oral surgery, this practice is terrific!

The staff here is great! They explained everything to us and answered any questions we had. They were very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. I had an extraction for an infected tooth . The office staff was great! Got me in as soon as possible. Everyone was very professional and kept me informed right thru procedure to discharge instructions. The Surgeon was painless.
I followed their instructions, I had no pain , minimal bleeding and tonight almost two weeks later they called again to follow up. she said My healing was right on target n in a few more days I would see a bigger difference.
That was a shocker to have them call two weeks out and know how i was feeling.
Highly recommend them. I heard good things before I used them . so

Dr. Richard Stern was absolutely amazing, he made me feel very comfortable and I felt back to normal the next day after surgery. I only had some minor discomfort from my gums healing after having my wisdom teeth removed. Overall experience is 5 stars it’s a little over a week later and I’m all healed up and drinking from straws again. Definitely would recommend him to anyone needing oral surgery!

Back in February I had to have a tooth extracted. I never had a tooth pulled and was very anxious. Dr Amy Tanchyk was absolutely incredible. She was reassuring, explaining everything to me, totally putting me at ease. And, no pain! The dental assistant and administrative staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. I'm actually looking forward to returning for an implant. No fear anymore. This practice exhibits a commitment to excellence.

This was such an amazing dentist visit. All of the staff members were women and they were so nice to me. They made me feel so comfortable and explained everything. They gave me ice packs and lip balm at the end, that was nice . I was nervous about getting my wisdom teeth out but it was a great visit.

Had to have a procedure done today & I was very nervous about it. Dr Engel was incredibly empathetic to my concerns & did a great job calming me down before doing his work. It was also quicker & less painful than I ever would've imagined plus I was able to get registration forms from their website ahead of time so I could have them ready when I showed up. That was much nicer than having to spend time filling them out in the waiting room on a clipboard!

Espectacular experience at this office. The staff is outgoing and helpful. Dr. Simos is detailed and caring. He went over the X-rays with me and explained the surgical process. My recovery was quick despite the fact that all four wisdom teeth were removed. You're definitely in good hands with this team!

Dr Stern and the entire staff at the Oral Surgery Group are, professional, skilled, friendly, thoughtful and made me feel at ease from the moment I stepped into the office. Even though I was a bit nervous about the procedure, Dr Stern assured me I would be 100% pain free and he was absolutely true to his word.
