Services
In 1981, I started this adventure in the signmaking business by attending the Certificate program in Sign Graphics at Los Angeles Trade Technical College. Who knew there was so much to learn? I spent years honing my brush skills as a sign painter (among those years were five years at the Disneyland Sign Shop), always aware of computer technology, and doing my best to be a worthy craftsman, committed to professionalism and a high level of service.
Big City also specializes in school murals, gym graphics, school mascot murals, school pride graphics and school spirit graphics, along with Gold Ribbon, Title 1, Distinguished School, AVID, and other school award signage. Based in southern California, Big City is a licensed contractor - sign painters, graphic artists, custom sign makers and installers.
You put the extra effort in, working long shifts and over the weekend to complete the job as quickly as possible. Paul is a skilled graphic painter. Big City Signs planned and painted custom wall graphics for a recent project I was a part of. His designs are fresh and innovative perfect for any commercial environment.

My experience with Big City Signs and Paul Borne was extremely positive. Paul installed our HOA directory signs, and he did a very impressive job. The painting, cement work (for the posts) and framing were all perfect. Residents are happy with our new signs. Paul was also very prompt in providing the estimate and proposal, which were clear and very professionally presented. I would be very happy to use the services of Big City Signs again in the future.
