Wowwww!!! Really happy and grateful to have been recommended this firm for my taxes, Ginger Mimmack is awesome. I have been going to the same tax person for years and try to do my own taxes some years as well: my taxes are quite easy and straight forward. However, I love Ginger because she is super nice, straight forward, extremely helpful and detailed about ALL of the deductions... Ginger was wonderful! We usually use turbotax, but we received a letter from the IRS asking for more money! Ginger was able to help us out with our issue in a friendly and fast manner. We were also able to set an appointment the same day I called (after tax season) and she was able to draft a letter and send it off to the IRS the next day!
Not to mention she kept me in the loop via email every step of the way. She was even friendly enough to allow me to bring my 4 month old son to our meeting. The rest of the office staff was friendly as well. If you are looking for a person who knows tax law

I have been seeing Ginger at Ford, Reed and Mimmack for my tax needs for several years now. I have always had a pleasant and painless experience. Ginger is very experienced and her knowledge of tax laws is very current.
When I took a job as an independent contractor, I was nervous about my taxes, but Ginger was so reassuring and she made the transition from being an employee to being a contractor quite easy. (In terms of taxes, at least!)
The rates are very fair and the service is exceptional! I would recommend Ford, Reed and Mimmack to anyone I know, and now I am recommending them to you

Have only had wonderful experiences here. Questions are quickly and accurately answered in a professional manner. Ginger is my personal accountant but the entire team at Ford Reed and Mimmack are all amazing.
Have been going to Ginger for some time and I always thought taxes were simple and accountants were helpful. But hearing stories from countless friends and coworkers I now understand how lucky I was to find someone like this to help me with my taxes. Refunds were great and she is very knowledgeable about any questions you might have as well as the current taxes changes each year.

Boutique service, reasonable rates!!
Last year i used a horrible "big name" tax service.( think lego) The kind that is there for a few months, and then becomes a yogurt shop for the rest of the year. BIG MISTAKE.
I needed someone who was available to answer my questions in a professional, straightforward manner. (because i've discovered, I'm clueless)

She was able to help out an unorganized mess like me. my receipts and paperwork were literally in a shoe box. She was courteous, and helpful, and made me feel comfortable during the most uncomfortable

Hands down, the best service available, they actually answer your calls, even leading up to April 15! After hearing the gripes and moans from many of my other friends and co-workers about the lack of service from their accountants around tax time, I have to give Ginger and her team major props. They also give you excellent individualized advice without putting their hand out for a fee. I always ask numerous questions about anything from 401k deductions and retirement planning to real estate tax implications and they'll answer over the phone like they're talking to family.
