Currently established in Long Beach, California, the multifaceted hairstylist and makeup artist Cesar Preciado was born in Laredo, Texas and raised in Jalisco, Mexico. As a child growing up, a culture of beauty surrounded young Cesar. Hairstylists and makeup artists made up the bulk of his nine-person household.
Cesar was always very creative and loved to draw and design. He enjoyed using nature's various shapes and vibrant colors. After moving to California in 1994 and experimenting with various jobs, he began his career as a freelance makeup artist in 1998 and then as a stylist in 2006.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! And yes, I am screaming it out of the top of my lungs lol!!! The salon is on a busy street and Cesar has his own suite, so it was just him and I. There is plenty of parking on the back. Honestly, I get soooo nervous getting my hair done, almost petrified. His place is well decorated and clean, he disinfected the chair in front of me as well. I showed him what I wanted and he did it so well. Also, he uses brands that I have use before (Amika, Olaplex, sexy hair). He payed attention to detail, music was on point, great conversation, I was literally smiling under my mask. He

Cesar has been doing my hair and makeup for 8 years now. Color, cut, blowout - he does it all for me. He is extremely talented and able to get me glam ready for anything from a date night to a red carpet event to a professional photo shoot. I have super curly hair and he's able to manipulate it for any "look" I want! His pricing is also very reasonable, especially for the careful and detailed work he puts in. I have referred him to so many friends and relatives and they've only raves about him and his work!

Cesar is fun, funny and very talented with both hair and makeup. He listens to his clients and delivers. He is constantly upgrading his skills to make sure he stays up to date and on trend. I would highly recommend Cesar for any and all hair and makeup needs. I love that his salon is private and quiet, just one customer at a time in this cozy studio.

I have been going to Cesar on and off for almost 10 years. When I say on and off, what I mean is that I'm not a regular. I usually get my hair done like 2 times (3 max) per year. Cesar is an amazing stylist and make up artist. I trust him completely with my hair and time after time, he always exceeds my expectations. Cesar is calm and personable, plays great music and can make sense of the colors and looks I am going for. This man saved my day, Cesar thank you sooooo much!!! On Sunday, June 11th, my husband and I were celebrating our Happily Ever After Brunch. I had my make up booked with Glam Gal Maxwell at 8am and she cancelled on me the day of, while I was at her door at 7:51am. I was fortune enough to have the owner Susan from Planet Hair and Spa, refer me to Cesar and he just did an AMAZING job and saved my wedding day on short notice. I appreciate your time and craft. Cesar did my hair this last week for my graduation ceremony the day after. He colored, cut and styled my hair for my big day. I was super nervous to get my hair colored because of a bad experience before but he made me feel very comfortable. He is super sweet and amazingly talented. He made me look great! Ever since Cesar did my hair for the first time I'm happy. My hair is so long and unmanageable, not just any hair stylist likes to deal with it. Cesar does, and to say the least my hair always looks beautiful (since Cesar started to style it) . I highly recommend Cesar, hair is so important for me. He is the best hairstylist in town.

My hair is a challenge... From my ever changing color to styles I contemplate changing hair stylist to the point of stressing. It's so important to find the right person. Hair is very personal and having a bad experience is not an option.
