We were in town visiting family and called to order a pizza for pickup. They were out of deep dish pizza so we ordered a thin crust with sausage & green peppers. This was probably the worst pizza we've ever had. It was cold, weirdly shaped, hardly cut. Burnt crust on the bottom and maybe three little pieces of sausage. Terrible! We would have been better off getting a frozen pizza for less money.

This place is Great! There decor, service and food is wonderful! They have a huge variety of beers. Decent wine selection for a pizza place. We had the Cesar salad which we literally ate completely all of ....like nothing left super good!! And for pizza it was a New York style medium veggie add pepperoni and it was legit...BOOM.....2 of is were only able to finish half partly due to the massive Cesar we took down and the glasses of Cabernet but I love leftovers!! Can't wait to go back......like seriously tomorrow.......Love it........Fin..........until next time pizza gods.

Got a sausage/onion NY thin to go. Got there 5 minutes before it was supposed to be done. It had to be done at least 10 minutes before I got there. I live 5 minutes from restaurant. When we at it, it was barely warm, hardly any sauce on it, and cheese was really hard. First time trying it. Decided to try it because of good reviews. Wasn't worth the $21.00 I paid for it. It was really tasteless.

Stopped in tonight on the suggestion of a friend and after a long and fruitless search we FINALLY found the best and most reasonably priced pizza in cedar rapids!! not only was the food amazing but the service was great and the inside was nice and welcoming! for the price amd quality theres just notthing that compares! we are loyal customers going forward!

This place was highly recommended to me by a couple people, but the pizza did not live up to the expectations. Maybe it was because when I called to order a large pepperoni pizza for pick up, they quoted me a 2 hour wait (?). I picked it up a little less than 2 hours later and the pizza was barely warm and smelled off-putting. I took 1 bite and couldn't finish. My husband didn't even try it based on the smell alone. Such a bummer, especially considering it was $21 with a tip. I gave it 2 stars because the restaurant was quaint and I always try to support locally. Unfortunately, this

Being from Chicago is challenging when it comes to pizza on the road. Cappy's produced outstanding quality pizza and pick up was easy and fast. What was really surprising was the gluten free crust. My wife has sampled many GF pizza around the country and she said this was one of the bast. She thought their crust was flavorful and crisp. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Regular crust was great as well!

Stopped by to order a pizza for carry out. I hadn't eaten here for 3 years since there are many pizza joints in the area. Thought I'd give it a try. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a large Greek salad to go. The pizza tasted good, but was very greasy. The Greek salad had no olives, but tasted ok. I called and they told me they must have forgotten to put them. For a $10 salad I was disappointed that it wasn't better. We probably will not be eating here again.
Service was vary good while we waited for our order. Very friendly, hardworking staff.

The cheesy bread was delicious. Loads of cheese with the perfect amount of garlic and crust. Cooked to perfection. The sauce was the perfect compliment to the cheesy bread.
We ordered a large Nee York style pizza half pepperoni and half Cappy's. The Cappy's has pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and prolly some other stuff that I'm forgetting.
This was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The ingredients were fresh, the dough was perfect, just the right amount of sauce.

This is one of our favorite pizza places. Our favorite is the Cappy's calzone and the Greek salad. They are delicious. We have also gotten the New York and Chicago which are great too. We often get it for carry out, but when we have eaten there we have been very pleased with the servers and the atmosphere. Great place for date night!

Cappy's Pizzeria makes fantastic homemade Italian pizza. They're venue is small but I usually make pickup orders and the service is always very quick. The staff were very kind. Practically sharing the same building as Scooter's Coffee, this venue is small but nice. Their pizza is pricey but well worth the price. I felt like I was eating pizza straight out of Italy.
If I'm craving a pizza that is delicious and made with love, I will be going to Cappy's Pizzeria.

This is the best pizzeria in the Midwest. It's not only the great tasting of the pizza, or the amazing geek salad( a must have), or the infinite beer cooler, but it's environment of the establishment and the employees. If you ever in Cedar Rapids and are craving a pizza, look no further as this is the place to be! Amazing can't wait to go back 5 stars all the way !

I feel like people hyped Cappy's up to me too much, which is disappointing. We decided to try the NY thin "cappy" and the cheesy bread. The flavors were good and the service was great, however the pizza and cheesy bread was super greasy!!! My napkin was saturated with grease just from wiping my hands, it was literally dripping off the pizza and made the crust soggy and chewy. Bummer :(

Cappy's has a cool laid back vibe. You can help yourself to their beer fridge and they will charge to whatever you pick out. The staff was very nice and provided excellent service.
The Chicago style pizza was exactly what I was looking for. It took a while to prepare, but that's to be expected from the style. The pizza was tasty and very filling. It was a little on the expensive side. $18.25 for a small Cappy's
