Dr. Anderton earned her Master's in School Psychology from Appalachian State University in 1999, and spent the next several years serving children in public school settings. Dr. Anderton next earned her Doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology from James Madison University in 2005.
This is one of the only APA accredited doctoral programs in the United States that integrates the study of school and clinical psychology, to better serve the needs of children and families.She completed an internship at the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board in Virginia, with a rotation in Forensic Psychology.

In fact, anxiety in children is more common than ever, especially anxiety about specific issues like school, bullies, and standardized testing.

Took my daughter there for learning disability testing and was very pleased with the doctor. They a offer the the testing at a affordable rate and was able to get an appointment within two weeks and got the results back in one week, The meeting with the doctor to review the results helped me to understand my daughters needs.
