We provide the ultimate outdoor adventures. The western mountains of Maine is often a place that conjures thoughts of skiing and hiking the Appalachian Trail. Though anyone who has ever visited Western Maine, and more specifically the mountains, is well aware of the vast trail system and lakes that make up the landscape.
What this means to the outdoor enthusiast is that you have a playground to discover and explore with the comforts of staying in one of our cabins. ATV Get-A-Ways are our most popular attraction. Where you can go wheeling and hit one of our private wheeling spots as well as nearby local trails. If you are up for a little mudslinging action then slide on your mud gear and head down to the best mud holes in the Western Mountains of Maine.

This place is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed at an AIrB&B in the quaint and beautiful town of Andover ME on a ski trip that featured both Saddleback and Sunday River resorts. We visited Saddleback on the first day and took the short cut through local roads. But then a Nor'easter came through with amazing force, strong gale winds, blowing snow, blizzard conditions and as a result, we had to take the long way through state roads, which although well maintained, still made the 3.5 hour drive a frightening experience.
So we were also famished hungry. Like, starving. And an entire

This place was recommended to us by friends. We drove here from Newry, well worth the trip. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We had the Prime Rib and the meatloaf was on special, both were great. Definitely go with the mashed potatoes and get the gravy, they offer it on the side. We will be back.

We've been to The Knotty Moose several times & have had great food as well as a great time each visit. It's always a sure bet to go where the locals go and that's exactly what the Moose is. It's right on the ATV/snowmobile trail so lots of people stop by when they're enjoying the beautiful Maine woods. The owner, Charlie, is always on hand. Friendly, welcoming staff paired with delicious food. You can't go wrong.

This authentic little place in the middle of no where is worth the drive on Sled or in a car. Natasha & her boss are always on their game & a smidge snarky in the the right measure. Food is real and the bar is about 10 seats. 2 Big screen TV's to watch the game. You arrive being appreciated and with the feeling like a friend.

Wonderful all around, friendly staff and amazing pub food. Their clams in garlic wine sauce was amazing and my philly cheese steak was a standout with mushrooms that had to have been sautéed in butter. The fries were homemade. All I could ask for is a deck to eat outside. Right on the snowmobile/atv trails and a mile or two from Roxbury pond.
