The birth of Perrine's Produce took place back in 1986. It was Memorial Weekend when Junior and Dianna Perrine decided to get a truck load of watermelon from a local farmer. They took their pickup truck and four kids and headed to a nearby busy intersection. In one day, they sold the entire load of watermelon.

I can not believe that I got a pink pineapple at Perrine's.It taste great also a little pricey at 6.99. There was not a stem. . So I could check it to see if it was ready to cut up and eat. It was a little green so aI gave it 3 days in the sun and it was beautiful!! I used the remainder of the stem and planted it.
It will be great to raise a pink pineapple 🍍.

My mother lives in Daytona and recommended that we go to this market. I am glad she did. They had so much variety of fresh veggies and fruit. They also had a lot of variety of food that you just don't see at Publix. We got fresh cuts of beef that were delicious. The bread from the bakery was fresh and delicious. This is my new spot when visiting my mom moving forward! Not to mention the great beer selection!

I have been shopping at Perrines since they opened and I just love it here! The produce selection is amazing and it’s not just produce, they have a great deli counter with a wonderful selection of cheeses. I am a gluten free vegetarian and their freezer case has a good variety of vegetarian / gluten free options for a quick meal.
If you try shipping there, I am sure your cart will have a lot more than you planned on buying. Mine always does! 😊

I love the produce. It's fresh and the prices are great. I especially love the peppers! Their meat is beautiful. Butcher quality and they do have a large selection. Steaks, tri-tip roasts, London broil they have everything. And there is a large section pork, bacon, sausages. It's my go-to market for Fresh produce, beef & pork. They have an in-store Deli that I have not tried yet. It's always crowded when I go

First time here this past Saturday. The produce selection was Amazing and beautifully presented. The store overall seemed very clean and organized. An employee named David was so helpful. He went out of his way to find me fresh basil in the back and wrapped a separate package of it for me. He then went to find someone to help my mom locate a wine she was looking for. As a bartender I will say that they also have one of the best most diverse wine selections I've seen in any store here in Florida. Prices overall were good. The meat department was a bit overpriced from other stores but overall we

Well there's lots more than Fruits and Vegetables here although all I needed was a lone green bell pepper for my meat loaf. I actually have been wanting to come check this place out - it was a lot larger than I pictured it would be and although it's the Noah's Ark of produce they have slowly expanded their offerings it seems.
This is definitely a popular venue and I could see from the size of the parking lot and the length of the checkout lines they need every square inch of the real estate. My bell pepper was beautiful and fresh and located only a few feet from the entrance but

It takes a lot to excite me. I once won $250 on a slot machine and it barely got a response from me. When I learned about Perrine's, I got a little excited. Intrigued might be the correct word. Today I realized that I needed a couple of items from the grocery store. So I thought this might be the perfect opportunity to check it out. As I walked into the store and took in the sight, I felt like I was struck by Cupid's arrow. It's pretty massive, especially when you think you'll be walking into a simple produce market. I decided to start with the bakery section, well because,

We went to the Port Orange store today. The first time we had ever even heard about Perrine's. We drove up from DeBary.
I picked up a bag of red seedless grapes, the sign said $ .99 per pound. As you can see by the photo, I was charged $2.49 per pound. My mistake was not looking at the receipt until we got home.
We had planned to return, doing day trips to the beach, shopping at numerous other stores and enjoying a day out, maybe having a meal.
The huge overcharge on a minor item has made us unhappy and unlikely to return.
Heading home for the summer with a deflated opinion of Perrine

I really enjoyed this grocery store, it reminds me of the old Lucky's. They had skids of items like oranges and a very large produce department including lots of organic items. They also have a good selection for vegans. The wine department was passing out samples which I always believe is a plus! Great bakery but only drawback is I didn't see a lot of gluten free items. Check out is a breeze and parking is always easy. All the employees are fantastic and willing to help. Highly recommend shopping here.

This is an amazing produce store. Lots of nice veggies, fruits and meat selections. The prices are a bit more but the quality equates it. They have a huge cheese and wine selections. The bakery products looks good but I have not tried them.
One major thing is the store doesn’t mandate masks during these uncertain times. I like the store but the same time I am hesitant to go because of maskless people in the store. Hopefully they change the policy.

Just shopped at Perrines. Although I like the market, it seemed that they are not sanitizing their carts. After you enter the store with your cart, there is a bottle of sanitizer and some paper towels for you to clean your own cart. Many customers and employees are not wearing masks.I know it's a personal preference to wear a mask or not.I love their salad bar but would not buy it because it was not protected from people breathing or coughing on the food. In my eyes, more caution is needed against Covid 19.

We do business here while in Daytona on our Fall vacations and Winter vacations. I give them a positive review, with just one exception. Sometimes they have items which are near or at their acceptable shelf life ( vegetables ), and they need to either bite the bullet and scrap the items, or discount them 75%. When veggies are no longer firm, or when they start to resemble prunes, they're not very appealing. Except for this occasion hiccup, we will continue to shop while in town.

I heard so many positive things about this place, I had to check it out. And they were true! I went before the grand opening and not everything was ready but it was wonderful! Now it's my regular produce place, and many other specialty foods are available for gift baskets or nice meals. Meat, fish, deli, bakery, and more, they have it all!
I would love to request that they carry stone ground grits, cracked wheat sourdough bread, and purple (inside) sweet potatoes, then I wouldn't have to go to Orlando anymore! Thanks!
