Rose Children's Theatre
It is with great sadness to say that our founder, Celeste Rose, has passed. Celeste started The Community Children's Theatre in 1978 and produced, wrote, directed, and adapted over 60 shows in the Eugene/Springfield area and ran several acting classes and puppet shows for the youth in our community.

She turned CCT into a nonprofit organization in 1990 and served our community through her retirement in 2002 and beyond. Celeste touched the lives of so many families and built an incredible legacy that still lives on. Our organization was renamed Rose Children's Theatre in 2006 to honor Celeste and the theatre community she worked so hard to build.
Services
The mission of Rose Children's Theatre (RCT) is to strengthen our community by empowering children and their families through the experience of performing arts and the magic of theater. The Rose Children's Theatre has been serving children and families in the greater Eugene and Springfield area for more than 37 years.
Rose Children's Theatre is widely supported by Lane County families, schools, community members and businesses. Each year, RCT offers 3-5 plays and 8-10 camps and workshops, strengthening our community by empowering children and their families through the experience of performing arts. Rose Children's Theatre's principal challenge is to ensure that we have the financial resources to keep our programs affordable for families.
The work of Rose Children's Theatre would not be possible without the generous support of businesses and private donors. Sponsorship enhances your company's marketing and community involvement strategies. The sponsorship funds we receive help offset the cost of performances and support scholarships that enable all members of our community to participate in RCT.
Do you have a special skill or talent that you could share with Rose Children's Theatre? Perhaps you are a talented writer, enjoy graphic design, have experience with grant writing, a talent for organization, etc.? Rose Children's Theater has many projects that could benefit from your skills and talents.
Do you have a vision for a show? A knack for Shakespeare? A talent for the triple threat? Would you like to join our team of directors and be a part of an awesome organization? These are simply guidelines. If you would like to request exceptions to the guidelines, please feel free to ask. Originally from Portland Oregon, Adam Kelly began his dancing career in a family owned studio.

Great program!! I have done shows with RCT and have always had so much fun. RCT is a great program to help kids get into theater, learn to use their stage voices, and be creative. So much fun

When i became apart of the rose childrens theatre community it really became a big part of my life! everyone is so kind and supportive and giving children the gift of performing is priceless. the atmosphere is very welcoming and warm, but also gives children a chance to learn what being on a stage is really like! the directors, cast, and crew are always so amazing. if you are a parent of a child that loves to sing, dance, or act, do your child a favor by introducing them to Rose Children's Theatre!
