Doorways has been a lifesaver for our child. We were blindsided by her eating disorder and didn't know where to turn. The staff has been so supportive and encouraging. They have walked our family through the recovery process. Rachel is the absolute best! She knows how to build a relationship of love and trust with every child. Liz has been a great dietician and taught our daughter a lot about nutrition. The team of the IOP program is top notch and I would highly recommend. If you are looking for a highly qualified, compassionate program, Doorways is the place that will help support and care

The service here is completely unprofessional. They falsely charge you for no shows when you keep your appointment and then when scheduling appointments they don't even call you. I was scheduled last week and when I called today they said they had "no appointment scheduled and therapist don't schedule their own appointments".. then why did mine?? They don't know their policies.

In a behavioral health landscape that is increasingly determined by billable hours and mediocre care, Doorways has consistently set itself apart as an institution that not only treats the symptom but also cares for the person.
It is because of this why Doorways has been a continual primary referral source of mine for adolescents and young adults who seek clinical care that is both relationally safe and clinically sound.

We took our 13 year old with anxiety issues to join their Intensive Outpatient Program. For working parents, their requirements seemed extreme. It was 3 days a week for 3 hours at a time starting at 4 pm. That alone required some serious scheduling to make happen and at first seemed worth it. Then, there was the mandatory parent meetings during normal business hours; which required us to take time off work to attend.
We were very clear with the staff what our child's conditions and difficulties were going in. One week into the program, one of counselors asked us for suggestions on how to

I came here for an eating disorder when I was 13, and a counselor by the name of Jody treated me like crap.
She never encouraged me, and i swear she purposely set me up to fail with the meal plans she gave me.
After a couple months or so, I had finally had enough of her meal plans, so I decided to make my own.
And within a week I started to gain weight. When Jody saw what I had done she got very irritated with me, and proceeded to tell me that I didn't know what I was doing and that I still had a long way to go with gaining weight.
Both my mom and I couldn't stand her.
She only made

As a college student who struggles daily with a number of mental issues I'm so thankful for the help I have received from Doorways. Everytime I call to make a appointment or ask a question they are always so kind towards me. As as well when I go for my appointments. I hope more college students who are struggling badly as I am would come to Doorways for support and guidance during the healing process ♥️

Don't waste your money or insurance on this clinic. I had my daughter going there for an eating disorder. My daughter was having a bad day one time and she tried to call her therapist. Her therapist was off that day but she was able to call her at home...the therapist gave her HELL for calling her at home and said that if she wanted to talk to make an appointment in the next day or two! I called the owner Jan Hamilton and all I got was her voice mail. I left a message for her to call me...NEVER received a call back. If you or your child have some sort of issue/s...don't go here

Doorways is AWESOME!!! :)
I work with Megan, and she is nice, understanding, believes in me, and is a great help!!!
I have been in groups, and I may be in another group later and I liked the group I was in!
The facility is nice, and the walls are painted ice-blue, which is my favourite colour!
There are inspirational sayings all over the walls, and I love that.
5 stars because this is my favourite counseling place!

At Doorways, Megan is an amazing counselor/friend. She makes you feel reassured about all of your troubles. When you have to "face your fears" Megan will wait until you are ready and once you are, she will do her best to make it as comfortable and funny as possible. She will tell you that your OCD is fixable and nothing to be sacred of and a "useless worry" (which is true) look for the book "what to do when your brĂ in gets stuck" it is for younger kids but it is all true. and you look forward to seeing her! She's just like a good friend.

They have a very comfortable lobby with nice office staff, which is good for nervous teens who might be unsure about getting better. They see people up to age 25. I can't say much about every counselor obviously, but mine is an extremely nice person who tolerates my abnormal and often rude behavior. Lol. I am forever grateful to him for that.
Oh, and they have a bunch of cheesy brochures about the dangers of drugs and alcohol in the lobby. They're entertaining. I laugh while I read them.
Seems like everyone there genuinely cares. If you need more intensive treatment they will help

000000- ZERO out of 100 stars!!!!!!!
I paid them $160 for a counseling session that we didn't use due to confusion over my daughter's appointment time. I had 2:30 they had me down for 1:00. I had made this appointment with Sara Van Holland weeks ago and it was an HONEST mix up. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HONEST MIX UP AND STIFFING THE APPOINTMENT. I HAD EVERY INTENTION ON SHOWING UP THERE AT 2:30. They knew I was driving about 40 miles from home for this appointment and knowing this was out of network for my insurance they were very rude and not understanding, insinuating that

I actually look forward to these visits. I sink into the comfortable office chairs and glance out at the relaxing mountains and never want to leave the lobby. The work they do at doorways is really amazing. Everyone is focused on the well being of the community they service. We found them through our insurance and I think it was dumb luck or divine intervention that that have done more for our family in 3 visits than I ever could have imagined.
Ironically, I didn't know they were "faith based" and we are relatively unobservant Jews. Only after a few visits did I realize that the
