Baltimore Hydraulics
Because we are a Service Company, we are very familiar with the pressures that come with unexpected breakdowns or outages. When "Murphy" strikes, our customers count on our expertise and experience to get them running again. We've been providing these hydraulic services and solutions since 1960 and although we haven't seen it all, we've seen enough to know what works and what doesn't.

It's this experience that allows us to solve your problems quickly and efficiently. Cylinders, Pumps, Motors, Control Valving, Winches, Hydraulic Power Units, tools and basically any hydraulic component, tool or machinery that can be brought to our shop. All components are repaired to a like-new condition, and are 100% tested before their return.
Services
Although through the years, Baltimore Hydraulics remained within the city limits, constant growth prompted the company's management to move twice to larger quarters. Today, BHI operates from a 40,000 square foot plant located in northeast Baltimore. Since 1960 we have directed our energy towards perfecting skills in the area of Troubleshooting, Repair, Design, & Manufacturing of all types of Hydraulic Systems, Equipment, and Components.
Baltimore Hydraulics, Inc. provides repair services to multiple market areas including: Industrial, Marine, Construction, Government and Commercial/Retail. Industrial: Our services are widely used in Manufacturing Facilities, Quarry and Milling Operations, Recycling Plants, Incinerators, Marine Terminals, and other land-based facilities that use hydraulic systems in their operations.
We aim to please. Items brought to our facility are repaired to new condition in several Component Repair departments. These repairs include Cylinders, Pumps, Motors, and Controls, as well as complete assemblies such as Winches, Hydraulic Power Units, Presses, & Tools. All repairs are 100% tested before their return and we offer free pickup and delivery.
Baltimore Hydraulics, Inc. provides repair services to multiple market areas including: Industrial, Construction, Marine, Government and Commercial. The following are examples of some of the more recent and completed Baltimore Hydraulic projects. Drain, clean and change replace hydraulic fluid with a glycol based, fire resistant fluid.
Cleanliness is truly next to Godliness when it comes to hydraulics. Up to 90% of all hydraulic system failures can be attributed to contaminated oil. Even before breakdown, contaminants in fluid can reduce system efficiency. New oil is typically contaminated beyond what most equipment manufacturers recommend.

Had a floor jack leaking at the pump piston, and no correct size o-ring was available at the major hardware stores. It still worked good so I thought that I should give this place a try. They gave me a bunch that were 100% identical to the original for no charge, great place.

The employees here have always been friendly and helpful. While they have always excelled in their field, they have also shown me great knowledge and skill in other areas such as electrical, agriculture, welding, fabrication, and machining. They probably aren't the cheapest in town, but far better and cheaper then my equipment's dealers. I will continue to come here from northern Harford County for their exceptional service.

Nowhere better to take your hydraulic components for repair or to even find a price of new. Truck Shop is my favorite part of this company. The core group of guys in the shop are amazing at what they do. The Owners are great people that make sure the customers get the quality service they deserve. I enjoyed working here from 8/2011 till 3/2017. I just want to thank you for everything. Without Baltimore Hydraulics I wouldn't have the skill set to move on to the current opportunities I have.

This firm is one I would not do business with. They came a week late and did nothing. They charged a service call which was paid in my absence. These people in my opinion are ripoff artists. I rarely write a review and am a former CEO of a regional company (Storage Village Self Storage). I am writing o this review in hopes of protecting other potential customers. I would have given no stars but that wasn't an option.

I’m a little bias as I work here at Baltimore Hydraulics but I would like to address the two negative reviews left on this site. Those of you who know us will hopefully pay no attention to them but I’m concerned about those of you who don’t know who we are. We have been doing our jobs for over 54 years and are proud of our quality workmanship as well as the service we provide. I had an opportunity to speak to Mr. Goldberg but not with joetow100. I reviewed both cases with the people here at BHI and am convinced that both individuals needed and wanted our expertise but obviously did not want

If your a small business owner like me and you need any hydraulic work lines or cylinders repaired I don't recommend this business they prey on taking your money and charging ridiculous prices. They recently tried taking one of my truck after I took it in for a line repair which turned into them taking it upon there self to try to change the hole line because it wasn't there brand apparently . After which they caused more problem getting the line jammed between a cylinder they didn't apologize but charged me $200 for there mess up and threatened to impound my truck. You have to tell your customer
