We are a family company and built on land that has been in the family for 100 years! Our cabins are fully furnished and handcrafted with our own harvested wood, and each interior and exterior has its own story to tell as well as its own unique style and beauty.

Our family resort is located in Carrollton, Ohio, which offers beautiful scenery, fishing and canoeing grounds as well as several area attractions within short distance of the property.
Nested comfortably alond the banks of the lower one-and-a-half acre pond, the Knotty Cabin is aptly named for the distinctively knotty appearance of the beautiful wood from which it was crafted. From the upper loft to the bedroom and living area below, the cabin is richly adorned with finely-crafted white cedar log furniture, built by Amish hands from the shores of West-Michigan.
An authentic three story pine log cabin overlooking the upper lake. It's relaxation at its best! Tall Pine offers two bunk beds with full size beds on the bottom and twin size beds on top, a master bedroom with a queen size bed on the main floor and two full-size futons on the first floor with access to the walkout basement.

We stayed at Knotty Cabin. It was clean, but really wasn't meant for 8 adults. Only one sleeping area was private, and that room had bunk beds. The accomodations for the other 6 people were out in the open; 2 futons downstairs, and 2 larger beds in the loft, which consisted of a room with 2 beds in it. No privacy, and despite its larger appearance from the outside, the cabin was rather cramped. There was only one bathroom for 4 guys and their wives, which is less than ideal. The shower would fluctuate between nuclear hot, and freezing cold, which forced you to take quick, miserable showers. (Although

The real appeal of this location is the seclusion and fishing. The stocked ponds mean amateurs and master fishermen alike will be catching and having fun. I've stayed twice in the Knotty Cabin and unfortunately see that 3 other cabins are being built around it. This takes the seclusion that makes the place so appealing away so I doubt we will be back.
The kitchen and utensils are very outdated and not remotely sharp. Bring your own if you'd prefer to cook in the cabin. The grill is in excellent condition. There are plenty of blankets and pillows in all the rooms for comfort. Water temperature

We visited Diamond Lake Cabins to get away from the fast paced lifestyle. Our son brought four of his friends with us and they had a wonderful time in the cabin and fishing at the beautiful fully stocked ponds. The owner is very tentative and kind; the boys got to assist him with moving the fish from pond to pond. That was a great experience for them. We stayed in the largest cabin, The Grand Pine and it is wonderful. Very clean, spacious and has a very clean relaxing hot tub. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

Perfect getaway for our family of four and we cannot wait to visit again! We stayed in the Old Hickory cabin. It was beautiful! Extremely quiet and peaceful. All 6 cabins were occupied during our stay and we still didn’t hear or see anyone else. This place is amazing. If you want a relaxing place to go to get away from the hustles of daily life, this is the ideal place to vacation. We made wonderful memories as a family and didn’t have to worry about being bothered, hearing noises that we hear daily at home, and we didn’t have to worry about COVID! We stayed here last week in the Grand Pine Cabin. This place is amazing! Very clean, the a/c worked, it kept this large cabin completely cooled. The hot tub was clean and in good condition. The wrap around porch was my favorite part of the experience. Just beautiful. Although there are other cabins, they are quaintly tucked in the trees so it gives you a feeling of being secluded. We met the guy that built the cabin we stayed in, I’m not sure if he was the owner but you can tell he loves his properties and keeps them well taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough, we really had a great

The experience was great! And good amenities..catch and release fishing and paddle boat. We stayed in the Grand Pine cabin and it was beautiful and it was very comfy the were a few things that could be improved . There's not really an official driveway..so car got stuck in a ditch so That made it difficult maneuvering in and out and the hot tube needs to be calibrated or something..it really wasn't that hot.
