It was wonderful! I love this store and the toys they carry. We started collecting wooden trains for our sons, now we are adding to the collection for our grandsons. It is nice to take the young kiddos there to enjoy.
We drove down from MI because we want to support this wonderful shop. Go take a look. Plus they now have a online shop. 👏👏👏

The coolest toy store + kids party venue in one.
My son is completely obsessed with trains and we desperately wanted to get him in with TNMOT and was sad to find venues unavailable. I had almost given up hope for a good party venue when a simple Google search brought me here.
OMG. This is the coolest place ever. If you're thinking about hosting a party to fuel your little one's train obsession, look no further because this place is perfect for them.
Our party host Anna was so helpful with taking care of everything and ensuring we had everything we needed, we supplied cake + pizza for our guests

Normally I would give more stars to a store like this but what I encountered was heartbreaking. My grandson visits this place about once every couple of months and always purchases something. He wanted to show his uncle the store and being just 5 years old was excited to show him around. After driving an hour we found that two steps kept us from having a nice visit. Unfortunately, the store isn’t wheelchair accessible so he wasn’t able to visit the store with him. When I asked the owner, he said he was sorry there wasn’t a ramp. I don’t think he’s sorry at all. This couldn’t have been

This is probably my 4 year old's favorite place. The employees are friendly and willing to let kids stay and play as long as they want. There's a huge train table plus other smaller ones. Lots to play with, and a huge selection of trains and accessories for sale. Most are on the expensive side, but I'm willing to pay a little extra to support a small business that's so kid friendly.

Free and fabulous! Perfect for your train-loving toddler. The owners/ operators are kind and personable, and to run a business like this, very generous.
I love shopping while my kids play; their prices on unique and quality kids gifts are reasonable and provides me the chance to support this FREE family place. They frequently run month-long specials on different toy brands, especially during holiday shopping time.

This store is awesome for train lovers! Located right next to the tracks (of course), it's an older, free standing house. Parking is a little slim but there is some street parking on a dead end. This is a store that sells tons of train merchandise, as well as other toys like puzzles and play food. But, it's also a fun place that encourages families to come and bring kids to play. There is a huge train set and also several small train tables as well as a play kitchen area for kids. And of course, tons of trains and accessories on the train table. It's free to play and they take donations

After hearing about FTS from some friends, we had to check it out. As we currently have two train enthusiasts in our midst, this was a home run!
Entering, you're greeted by a HUGE train set with all sorts of trains to play with. Naturally, our three year old gravitated towards the 3 engines another boy was playing with rather than the 50+ currently not in use. After a discussion about the importance of appropriate social conduct and the need for personal space, we proceeded to play for the next few hours on one of the four huge train tables.
The walls are covered with just about any popular

My son LOVED this place. They have 4 small train tables as well as a huge one for kids to play with. They also have a mellissa&doug play kitchen for the kids to play with.
The toys for sale are very reasonably priced. I compared the items I bought to prices on amazon.com and the prices were pretty much the same.
I would recommend this store to anyone with kids who like trains. We spent 3hrs here and my 2.5yr old son played the whole time!

We just moved to the area and after meeting someone who quickly recognized my son's love of trains she recommended that we pay a visit to the Frisco Train Store. We spent two full hours at the store where both my son (4) and daughter (14 months) enjoyed playing at the train tables, especially the large multilevel one in the middle of the store. The place opened at 10 and quickly filled with children and parents. By noon it was starting to quiet down, but a few more families were coming in as we were leaving. The store has a charming atmosphere and provided great fun for young train enthusiasts
