Services
In the early 1950's Mrs. Parker and her son Ray Parker opened up a lobster pound next to the current Ray's Seafood Restaurant. Ray would go out and catch the lobsters and his mother would sell fresh lobster rolls at the lobster pound. In 1961 once again the Parker's grew out of their small roadside stand and converted the house that was also located on the property at 1677 Ocean Boulevard.

One of the best seafood restaurants that we’ve ever been to. My wife and I stopped for lunch today after her run at the half marathon in Rye this AM. She had the clam chowder served hot and fried clam plate. I opted for the fried oysters and lobster roll. The roll was absolutely one of the best I’ve ever had. No fillers or heavy mayo, just lobster and butter. The roll was lightly grilled and buttery and filled to spilling over. All the portions were plentiful and cooked to absolute perfection. Patrick, our server, was as good as the food. Very friendly and attentive with a nice casual demeanor

Had a great meal on a Saturday drive up the coast. Heard a lot about Ray’s and wanted to try it for ourselves. Lobster Rolls all around and I had fish chowder.
The food was plentiful and awesome.
The restaurant is basked in New England coastal charm with a giant lobster outside, other nautical displays, and lots of nautical pictures inside.
Our server was very efficient but couldn’t seem to crack a smile. Oh well!!
Highly recommend Ray’s!!

Stopped in and had a delicious impromptu family meal on a beautiful September Saturday. Great service from Mel. We sat upstairs in the enclosed restaurant with a window view. Ray's is casual, with fun energy from the staff and a wide seafood selection menu. If you crave lobster , you need to go. We enjoyed lobster stuffed mushrooms, 5 half lobster tails, calamari and baked scallops.. The "pain killer" cocktail is yummy and reminds upstairs of the beach. Eat in the restaurant, on the balcony or order at the outside window and sit at the covered tables next to the inlet. You won't be disappointed

Great experience. We walked in with 9 people and ordered $210.00 worth of food. Rearranged the tables to fit our big group and have an awesome dinner. The staff couldn't have been nicer and we didn't even wait that long for our food. Everyone left satisfied and full. We will defenitely be coming back again, and this time we will get 2 dozen oysters. So delicious!!!

Stopped here after a day at the beach for some fresh seafood. Ordered at the window to avoid indoor dining. I think I was only one wearing a mask, including the cooks, which may seem excessive to some, being outdoors and all, but I was in close proximity of guests and staff, so I felt safer doing so. In my opinion, all the staff should be wearing masks preemptively. Sununu really needs to make this official again. We are in the middle of a pandemic, remember people????!!!
The teenage girl at the window gave me an attitude when I apparently was asking too many questions about the menu, which I

Being from New Mexico, I am on a quest to try as many different lobster rolls as I can while I am in the northeast. This is another good one! This is another good one! Yummy!
And I ordered a lobster quesadilla to go for lunch the next day. It was pretty good as well, just wish it had had a little more lobster on it. Overall, very good!

Delicious food and friendly wait staff. Meals are made to order and they will make adjustments for you. Menu is almost entirely fresh seafood with some chicken entrees as well. No steak and no raw oysters or sushi. Casual dining experience. No china or silverware here-paper plates and plastic cutlery and cups. Gorgeous ocean view from some tables.
