Morton Lumber Ace Hardware
We are a lumberyard affiliated with Ace Hardware, servicing the commmercial and consumer needs of Borger, Fritch, Stinnett, Skellytown, and Morse of Hutchinson County and the north Texas Panhandle. Morton Lumber Company has been in Borger, Texas, since 1950. Robert and Marilyn Archer are the third owners, purchasing it in 1981 from Bill Carson, who had owned it since 1968, when the founder, Frank Morton, passed away.

This is the second location. See About Us for the history of our business. Whether you are building a new home or repairing an old one, we have what you need to do the job.
Services
Ace Hardware Corporation has received awards for high ratings in customer satisfaction, and for over 30 years that has been our goal, too. We have worked hard to have knowledgable employees who can answer questions, give outstanding customer service, and provide a competitively priced selection of merchandise the community needs.
We sell more Ace paint than any other Ace dealer in the state of Texas because it is a high quality product, we sell it to you at a competitive price, and we have it in stock today. Need 20 gallons custom matched to the old wall color? We can computer generate the formula and, in most cases, we have the paint on the shelf so you don't have to wait until next week for it to be mixed.

Everyone is so helpful there. Even though they are in the middle of moving to their new location, the salesperson in the paint department offered to call the new store because some of their merchandise had been moved over there. I can't wait for their new location to open.
