In 1954, Barksdale Federal was established to serve military and civilian personnel at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City. While continuing to proudly serve the men and women, and their families, of Barksdale Air Force Base, we now serve over 1000 companies, associations, and churches.

Our Regular Checking account is perfect for individuals with basic banking needs. This account pays dividends when you maintain a minimum average balance of $1000 or more. There is no minimum opening deposit and no monthly fee if your aggregate daily balance stays above $200.
Our Prime Savings is perfect for individuals opening their first account with Barksdale Federal. This account establishes you as a member of the credit union. Although you can deposit as much as you like, new members can open this account with as little as $10 (a $5 one time membership fee + $5 savings deposit.)
Our Certificate Accounts are perfect for individuals looking for a low risk investment. These accounts earn interest without penalty as long as you do not withdraw funds before maturity.
