Restoring floors is not only about elegance and the longevity of the floor, often it is a question of health and hygiene.
Note: Additional air circulation from open windows and fans will also help a finished floor cure faster. Sand and will cause premature wear. Vacuum or use an unteated dust mop on your floor regularly. Placing walk-off mats inside and outside of key entry points and near sinks will help prevent the spread of such material.

Our parquet floors were so worn and dry we thought our only alternative was replacement. However after Bill repaired, sanded & vanished multiple times, they now look like brand new wood floors.
