Paragon Hearing Aid Center
Lonnie Barkby has been providing excellent hearing care to the people of Central Pennsylvania for over a decade. He is passionate about helping people hear better and has made it his life's work to do so. Lonnie was born and raised in York and is currently raising his 2 children here as well. I will never forget the way my very first patient's face lit up when she put her hearing aids in for the first time!

Her reaction to hearing what she had missed for so long continues to be my inspiration. I seek to help those with hearing loss find the best solutions for their individual needs. With the many options and rapidly changing technology, it is more important than ever to have someone who cares enough to find the right solution for each person's needs.
Services
At Paragon Hearing Aid Center, we put you - our valued patient - at the center of everything we do. We understand that each person's hearing loss is unique and personal, so we are proud to be the local, independent hearing care practice that will partner with you on your journey to better hearing.
Paragon Hearing Aid Center recognizes the importance of the community around us. And the positive impact the non-profit community has on everyone in it. We would like to do our part in helping local churches, and others, by providing a free service to their audio department.

If your sound team uses in-ear monitors, traditionally you have to send the team member to a local office to purchase ear impressions to send off to the manufacturer of your choice to have the in-ear monitors made.We have seen these impressions cost as much as $90 for a pair. In an effort to do our part in giving back to the community we will be providing these impressions free of charge to local non-profit organizations.
Wondering which hearing aid is right for you? There are a number of factors to consider when picking a new hearing device, from hearing aid style to our top hearing aid brands. The classic hearing aid style is a Behind-The-Ear (BTE) device that works well for every level of hearing loss and is easy to wear and adjust.

My Dad was told by an ear specialist doctor that he would not be able to hear any better than the 25 % a sudden hearing loss left him with in his left ear. He was already mostly deaf in the right. So since January of 2019 my Dad could not hear us and we were reduced to writing our conversations on a white board. Until I saw an ad in the paper for Paragon Hearing Center. We made an appointment with Lonny and it changed my Dad's life. Who let's you try out hearing aids until you find the right one for you? Lonny that's who. If you need hearing aids you owe it to yourself or your family member to

Paragon Hearing Aid Center is truly about helping people with hearing issues. Lonnie was willing to let his costumers try the hearing aid before buying it. I love that. I would recommend Lonnie all day long, he is great.
