Colonial Sash and Door was founded in 1989, as a building/remodeling materials supply company by its current owner Timothy Rollins. Operations began in Hedgesville, West Virginia, facilitating three primary product lines, windows, doors and millwork. As business grew quickly, the need for a more professional facility in a geographically desirable location became apparent.
In the Spring of 1990, operations were moved to Frederick, Maryland, where the company resides today. Our company continues to grow, and we currently supply products to customers in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware and Washington, D.C. We are recognized as one of the area's finest building materials manufacturers and distributors.

Colonial Sash and Door is one of the area's largest and most up-to-date door manufacturing facilities. Our interior door shop consists of two separate lines, capable of producing 400+ door units daily. Our back splining casing machine affords the customer a tight mitre joint with no visible fasteners.
In addition to our "production" door shops, Colonial Sash and Door Inc. also offers its customers "custom" interior and exterior door hanging. Having aligned ourselves with many of the elite door slab manufacturers, we can offer a huge selection of premium interior and exterior door options. Our custom shop offers "old world" quality and tradition with today's technology and advancements.

These guys were great to work with and I love our new door! They had a lot of patience while I kept going back and forth with what I wanted and were also very good about making sure I knew all of the factors that needed to be considered when ordering the right dimensions. I mostly worked with Sonny, who was very responsive and helpful. The door I ordered had some special features that you can’t just get anywhere...vented sidelights! Worth the extra $$.
