Is a family-owned full-service health food store that offers vitamins, supplements, herbs, sports products, sportswear and groceries. We have been serving the community of Albuquerque for over 30 years and our company's goal is to educate our clients with the most up-to-date scientific research in the realm of nutrition, supplementation, and exercise.

Our passion lies in helping individuals achieve better health and quality of life through applied chemistry. Our staff includes Dr. Robert Downs, a clinical nutritionist, and Michael Lichtenberger, a health researcher. Absolutely Love R Downs. They are so knowledgable and helpful. They truly know the ins and outs of all of the products they provide and will troubleshoot with you to find the best possible product to fit your needs. It's not just a bunch of teenagers with a summer job, instead it is dedicated employees who actually know what they're talking about. I have been coming here for over 5 years now, and I wouldn't go to any other nutrition shop in Albuquerque. Top quality products and top quality customer service.

Vitamins vitamins and more vitamins and with great prices. The staff are extremely helpful makes your shopping fun and easier. Having a friendly staff makes a huge difference and they are one of them. I would come back!

I didn't know this place even existed but glad I know now. Staff is very knowledgeable and had everything I was looking for, which my usual store didn't. Prices also were very reasonable. Definitely recommend this place to anyone

The team and products at R. Downs are superb! The team members are very kind and knowledgeable and answer my many questions with respect and a willingness to explain. They have spent a significant amount of time helping me choose the best products for my goals and health issues. Their prices are very reasonable. This should be your first choice. Staff is nice, but that's easy; R - Downs staff have a deep knowledge of nutrition science and really know their products. You won't get some garishly vascular meat - head trying to sell you some questionable pre - workout that he doesn't understand himself; though, if mass is your goal as it was mine, they carry *and understand* all those products as well. Plus, they're local and the money you spend here stays in your community. I can't say enough good stuff about these guys. It's a store for everyone from bodybuilders to senior folk trying to keep their cholesterol
