Mary Ann is a 5 star practitioner. The lack of transparency of this practice is another thing entirely.
I have been repeatedly reminded of the need to make my annual exam appointment.
I call to report I have 5 more months of prescription at hand and I'll use that before scheduling the exam for a new prescription. I'm informed that I must come now as it is "mandatory" that I do so on a yearly basis!
Well, perhaps it's mandatory as they have raised their fees from $179.00 for annual exam to $400.00 up front! I phoned in to verify this fact.
Why are patients not sent out notification

I've been going to Mary Ann for years now and I have been pleased with her. I was shocked today though as I called her office to say I would be coming by to pick up my blood work box and the girl at the front desk told me great but we do close between 12 and 1. This was at 10:00 am. I told her I would come now. No problem right?, wrong I drove the 20 minutes out there to be greeted by the same person I spoke to on the phone to be told oh no you have to come in to see Mary Ann to go over your health this year and then get the blood work done and then come back for a second visit oh and

I started seeing Maryann in May 2018. First off walking into the center I automatically feel calm. I came to her for several issues. Fatigue, weight gain, thyroid check, and hormone imbalance. After a thorough exam, I found my hormones were completely out of whack. For the past few months we have been working hard on balancing them out. She takes the time you need and really figured it out. I am forever grateful to her and the whole center.

I was not feeling well for about a year and it all started with daily headaches and Kaiser ran all the necessary test and found nothing. I was also having trouble sleeping and felt depressed at times. Lack of motivation stomach bloating, aches and pains I had it all. Mary Ann has been instrumental in helping me with my Hashimoto's. I have been working with her for about 8 months now and she's been a bright light guiding me through the fog of this autoimmune disease! I made an appointment with Maryann Simpson NP for Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Treatment (BHRT) 4 months ago. I have a history of fatigue due to previous heart failure.
