CLEAN — COMFORTABLE — FRIENDLY!! This was my second stay here and I highly recommend it! Location is a quick drive from main part of town. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice large “mini fridge”, microwave and toaster… and always a good idea to bring a cooler since nearby restaurants may have limited hours, etc. Beautiful view of Bay and Lake Superior from second floor (I’ve not stayed on main level).

My daughter's and I were there in August , stay for two nights. The rooms are very clean. Terry and Dalphine are great host, such down to earth nice people. It was my 82nd birthday. Dalphine sang happy birthday to me, so sweet. We also stayed there in May this year. We will be going back, we love it there. I love waking up with the window open, drinking my coffee, listening to the church Bell's, so quaint and beautiful. Thank you for a special vacation! See you soon 🙏, Gail Harig.

We rented a room for the night after coming off the North Country Trail for a backpacking adventure with my family. We found the owner extremely kind and accommodating. She even let us throw our dirty laundry in for a quick load. Room was clean and shower hot! We needed it. Only a 5 minute walk to town. Grand Marais is one of our favorite places and this motel is a gem. We will stay there again. Oh, and I had great views of the harbor!

I stayed here while hiking PR Nat’l Lakeshore and chose this motel based on reviews. Excellent choice and motel. The rooms are so clean and the owners are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. They maintain daily room service for multiple day stays when many hotels these days do not. The towels are thick and nice. The water is hot. The view from the top floor is beautiful. Choose Voyageurs, you will not be disappointed.
