As Structural Engineers we play a critical role in the projects with which we are involved. Our value extends far beyond simply providing adequate resistance to collapse. We work tirelessly to ensure our projects are designed to perform well for many years to come while also meeting the aesthetic and economic needs of the present day.
AE Dynamics provides shop drawings for many specialty systems, but we specialize in designing systems for the building envelope. We regularly design Storefront, Curtain Wall, Windows, Sunshades, Skylights, Glass Handrails, and Composite Panels. Because of our diverse background of the entire building design process, we are able to consider how all of the critical building components interact with one another in order to provide a complete design.
AE Dynamics provides Special Inspection and Testing services for building projects within a two hour driving radius of our offices. Special Inspection and Testing requirements for a given project are dictated by a combination of the building code requirements as well as local jurisdictional and design team project specific requirements.
AE Dynamics was founded in 2012 by principals Scott Higinbotham and Chris Cerminara. Since becoming close friends at Penn State in 1997, Chris and Scott formed their first working relationship in 2007, when they teamed up on their first engineered window project. They continued to work together on a contractual basis until 2012, when they implemented their plan to create a company that would draw on their professional experience and expertise.

AE Dynamics has worked on my projects since their start. They figure the details out and don't leave it up to the contractor. They also are willing to work with the contractor during design to design the most efficient approach based on how the contractor is best able to construct the project. I would hire AE Dynamics for any of our projects in the future.
