Ghost Ship Tattoo was founded in 2012 by a group of talented artists and friends who were looking to build a custom tattoo studio that held the art form of tattooing to a higher standard than what many collectors are used to. We pride ourselves in creating custom tattoos for our clients, and for this reason we do not carry any flash books in our studio.
We are the area's only fully disposable Tattoo Studio, everything used by the artist to tattoo you will be single use, excluding their machine. Beware that there is someone on instagram by the name of @angelsart75 using this establishment to scam people out of their money . they will try to have you send double the money of the tattoo for a "deposit" and say they will send it back to you . after sending the money they will try to get you to send more and when you don't agree they will say they will refund you but instead block and not send you the money back .

Kinda annoyed tbh. I emailed ahead asking about their "walk-in" policy and was told they take walk-ins all day so we showed up around 6pm (they close at 10pm) and checked in and were told the artist were working on appointments but it shouldn't be too long and we were welcomed to wait. We wait two whole hours just so when two clients got up and left to be told they didn't feel like doing anything else...which I understand but the artist could've been asked long before so we didn't have to waste our time. I went in for a walk-in tattoo, I waited a little bit but man was it worth the wait. Steve seemed to be doing all the walk-ins and he did an amazing job. I got a dragon sternum tattoo, Steve was so calm, quick, and patient with me. I will forever go to him for my future tattoos. The lines are incredibly neat and beautiful, I can't believe he's not booked for months!! He exceeded my expectations, thanks Steve!!!

So my husband and I went in for matching tattoos as walkins. The front desk person was super nice and helpful it took a little over an hour to actually get pulled back for our tattoos (but thats expected as walk-ins). The artists came and talked to us to make sure we were on the same page. They prepared everything in front of us including unwrapping the needles and talked us through what was going to happen a little. (Neither of us have prior tattoos. The tattoos ended up looking amazing and I couldn't be happier with our decision to go here.

From the moment i walked in the door the woman working behind the front desk was rude. Although she believes her condescending tone and "superior " attitude may make her seem qualified and/or educated in her employment, these qualities only magnify her ignorance and social ineptitude. Needless to say i did not stay as her demeanor is not one which inspires confidence or generates positive business rapport.

Second tattoo here and just as good of an experience. My mom & I did a walk in on a Wednesday evening and got in. They don't allow you to make appointments over the phone, and since it was a drive from where we live we figured we'd risk it. Steve was professional, friendly, and did a very clean job. Great energy from all staff we met and would definitely come back in the future.

Great tattoo, poor service. I spoke to Jude as a walk in and he drew up a design and tattooed my first session the next day. The second session was two weeks later. The tattoo is beautiful but I would not recommend him based on what he said and the way he acted. Both visits he made racist and homophobic comments which made me very uncomfortable and were really inappropriate. During second session my boyfriend was looking at portfolios because he was interested in getting work done here and Jude told him not to touch the portfolios. I could have sworn this place used to have a different name several years ago, but according to the address, this is the place. Don't come here. The people sit around and smoke pot in the back and then come out to tattoo you thinking that's ok? Sorry, but I wouldn't want someone whose high and incompetent tattooing my body permanently. The artist was rude as well. I kept telling him to do a small design, but he brought out something very large sized for something that was just going on the hip. Ridiculously overpriced. First time customer: They are friendly, professional ( well if you don't mind the F bomb being dropped every other word) and confident without being cocky. Ruby greeted my sister and I. When we told her what we wanted she immediately starting asking questions and giving advice which I loved because I had to no clue what to do. Jude was sooo funny but when it came down to business he talked me through the entire process. He really made me feel at ease. I'm super happy with my tattoo and the experience. Thank you!!

I started a tattoo with Drew a few weeks ago and I'm so happy I met him. It's just an outline with shading and I'm getting tons of compliments. Today I get to continue my adventure with him and I can't wait to see what he dies next.

Ok. So I came here with my daughter about 1 month ago to put a deposit down on a tattoo she was to get on her 18th birthday (today). We specified we wanted Chris to do it but he told us he was off that day. He then decided to come in anyway for us since it was for her birthday. We were very happy about this, but he was a little rude in telling us she "better not cry".

The staff here is awesome. They're all down to earth and very knowledgeable. The art is top notch, the prices are great. The studio is comfortable and inviting. Custom art and walkins are welcomed.
