Guncles Gluten Free

Was given a variety of desserts from this company for my birthday from my son. Very happy with to finally taste some great products. Thank tou guys, much appriciated.

Delicious, if pricey. We tried a variety of the mini bundt cakes and every one of them was excellent. My family member has celiac, and they are leery of store bought gluten free items that still contain traces of gluten, but Guncles did not disappoint. There was no contamination here. Expect everything to cost twice normal bakery prices, but for gluten-free diets, the taste may be worth an occasional splurge.

Little on the pricey side, but the cookies and cinnamon rolls will have me coming back for the occasional treat!
I literally cannot tell these are gluten free without being already informed.
Guncles proves gluten free baking has come a very long way from 10-15 years ago when I first started baking gluten free.

O M G these cakes are beautifully packaged and delicious. Really love the ingredients details on the back as we have different allergies and this helps a lot. We’re techie nerds so all the love and special details are absolutely amazing. Very nicely done Guncles!! A++ (who-hoo!!)

Very professional modern and stylish business environment. We weren’t even sure what we wanted when we come in but John was very informative and was able to help get us exactly what we needed to satisfy our sweet tooth. The packaging was neat and presentable and it come in the cutest little clear box stuffed with tissue paper the little cake looked almost too beautiful to eat and it definitely tasted as good as it looked! For No GMO and gluten free food this cake was to die for and it was reasonably priced so we will be paying many more visits in the near future. Thanks Guncles!!!

We got the oatmeal cream pie cookies, blueberry lemon friands, and fig spice mini Bundt cake. They tasted amazing! Would definitely going back for more.

Fantastic gluten free sweets and bread option. My spouse is gluten intolerant and she was in heaven being able to get high quality sweets and breads that are free of gluten.
We took home a variety of items and everything was great. The cinnamon rolls are excellent. And that’s coming from a person that can eat gluten 😉.
During our stop we were able to eat cinnamon rolls and have a cup of coffee, tea and OJ on a table in front of the store.
Note: you don’t go into the store. They come to you out front.

Picked up a couple orders for my family this past weekend. We needed rolls for dinner on Saturday and while they are currently off menu they made me delicious dinner rolls for our family meal. In addition to the rolls we also had the famous cinnamon rolls and they didn't disappoint.

Came here this morning with my family and had the most amazing time tasting the biscuits, ganache cake, cinnamon buns, banana bread, chocolate chip cookies, etc. Yes, I ordered that much. It was all amazing and not just "good for gluten free". We have been eating wheat free since my daughter's allergy diagnosis and this is the first time in a long time I have been able to just order something without stressing. My two year old devoured the chocolate chip cookies and was just so happy. The owners were so pleasant and kind. An added bonus, this place has customers ordering outside

We stopped here to pick up a few gluten-free treats on a trip. It was absolutely worth it! The selection was amazing and the owners were incredibly nice. We got several cakes and some frozen cinnamon rolls and cookies to bake later. I also got an iced coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend for anyone going through Mobile, even if you don't normally get gluten-free food. It is so good!

My first time having something from Guncles. I picked up cinnamon rolls for the office and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. Didn't realize it had cream cheese icing but it wasn't overpowering. The roll itself was sweet and delicious.

Amazing baked goods, and not just "good for gluten free." Listen. Anyone who has eaten gluten free food knows that people try but it is not always stellar. That is not the case at this incredible bakery! I happened on it while visiting the mobile area and searching for GF places to eat. I went Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and completely plan on going back once more before I leave town to stock up on some of the frozen items and probably will get some fresh things too! People who eat Gluten and gluten free will both enjoy these incredible goodies! I will be back anytime I am close

What a great place! A very sweet couple and very friendly. Love that it is a family run business. The carrot cake, lemon cake and chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Brought some treat back to my mom who is on a restricted diet and she loved them all! Plan a trip to visit the Guncles when in Mobile. You want be disappointed!

A Ma & Pa bakery, Owner Does Most of orders. It's inviting, friendly and healthy.
They don't have your typical Starbucks or coffee shop coffee. Mostly are dripping coffee. You can choose your flavor.

This bakery is divine. The owner stands outside and takes your order and payment and goes inside to fulfill. She was wearing a mask. The buttermilk biscuits - first gf biscuit I have ever seen - was heavenly. Would absolutely not know it was gf. The lemon blueberry cake was also divine. Hurry there for your gf needs!

Every single thing is so delicious. I have no gluten sensitivities but I just love the quality of the goods and the exquisite attention to detail.

Best Desserts Ive had in 8 states!! If I didn't know it was gluten free I never would have believed it. The oatmeal raisin cookies were insane and the cinnamon roll I have no words for, Im sending my husband back for 2 more baquetts and a loaf of sandwich bread before we leave Mobile.

The absolute BEST pastries, all gluten free. Demetrius, john Edward, Matt and Tamika provide a delightful and delicious experience. The Fig Cake is my favorite and my husband loves the Molten Lava Cake. The White Peony tea is delish, as is their coffee-all made to your desires. Special orders are easy for them. Don't forget their amazing biscuits and toffee cookies we are forever friends a.

What a DELICIOUS experience. The baguette was some of the BEST gluten free bread I have ever had. I would definitely recommend. The owners even gave me some butter to go with it, because I am in a hotel.

I also had one of the little cakes (the berry one). It was so MOIST and perfectly flavored - it was simply perfect. It looked beautiful too.

The place was clean and the owners were very nice. I would highly recommend coming here. What an awesome little place! They even have outdoor seating where you can enjoy your sweet treats!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Let's start with the personality of the owners and workers! They are absolutely fantastic and just sweethearts! My experience at Guncles was nothing short of phenomenal! We were promptly greeted after walking into the door and immediately offered an array of delicious samples! Ultimately the brown butter toffee cookies, lemon bundt cake, and chocolate ganache cake won us over! We look forward to going back for more very, very soon! Can't wait to see what else they unfold!

Oh my goodness! This place is sooo wonderful! When I walked in and tasted the lemon cake, I did a happy dance. I nearly cried. Seriously. I did not know I could ever have treats this amazing now that I'm medically gluten free. The chocolate chip cookies are not good for gluten free. They are just plain good! My husband who can eat anything, swooned. The buttermilk biscuits are delicious! I also got the chocolate cake and I'm serving that and the pumpkin cake to guests tomorrow.

Ok I'm pretty sure the team at Guncles are a bunch of wizards.

I've had gluten free treats and usually find them quite sandy/gritty.

But Guncles seems to have stumbled upon a perfect ratio that gives their cookies and little cakes a perfect mouthfeel that allows you to feel like you are just 100% indulging.

I had some toffee brown butter chocolate chip cookies and the owner informed me that they even make the toffee for the cookies in-house.

They were unreal amazing.

Then the manager told me the strawberry cake was actually ***balsamic*** strawberry cake.

So Guncles is not

I'm always looking for gluten free restaurants and bakeries when I travel. This did not disappoint! I really came in for the banana nut bread but walked out with more. They let you sample the products, and they speak for themselves. Great, genuine service!

Gotta' give it up to the Guncles! If you'd have told me a while ago that I'd be chasing down ANYTHING that's gluten free, I'd have laughed in your face!

Thankfully, I don't have Celiac Disease, or any allergy/sensitivity to gluten. But here I am, a fan and Guncles cheerleader!

Their cakes are delish and don't taste like cardboard! Honestly, I'd imagined in my head how they'd taste. I've tried those "substitute the sugar for applesauce desserts" and, yes, I can tell and I LOATHE them.
