When we were working with our contractor to coordinate the initial installation of our low-voltage system, there was some miscommunication about the plans that was immediately remedied when we started communicating directly with Desert Sound & Security. From that time forward their responsiveness and work quality have been impeccable. over the five years that we have been working together. To my amazement, I often get responses to my (sometimes ignorant) email questions well into the evening. We feel that we are in good hands with these folks and are very glad we chose them.

They will sell you on a great system! A system that should be easy to use! A system that will run smoothly with no problems.......But lots of the things will start going wrong.....stop working......Things that the guys can't explain why they happened, but they will then start charging you hundreds of dollars to come out and fix stuff. Stuff you were told would not go wrong. The business model is that of selling you a very expensive complex expensive system, but the real money comes with the service calls to fix all the constant issues and problems!!!!! I give them credit on selling me

Don't waste your time with these guys like they wasted ours. We just had them out Friday to evaluate our house to take over alarm monitoring and hire them for a monthly maintenance plan, plus additional work. Today we get a call from their office girl that they can't take us on due to a number of other clients that have hired them in just the last week. I explained that we could wait three to six months and come on board with them at that time yet was told that still wouldn't be possible even then due to the work they got this past week. What an absolute lie. Be honest with customers

We hired Desert Sound and Security after a bad experience with another automation contractor. Their service personnel were always very professional and did an outstanding job. They fixed all of the previous contractor’s errors and got our Control 4 system functioning perfectly. They always respond to any questions or issues very quickly. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had Jim Miller install my savant system and I absolutely love it. I can use my phone or iPad to control any tv in my house from anywhere in the world... with cell service. Install was quick and painless. Jim's ability to make what could be very confusing home automation simple enough for me to understand is very refreshing. I hate tech people that make you feel dumb.

I can't begin to explain how thrilled I am with the experience I had at Desert Sound and Security. From the first consultation, Jim Miller did a phenomenal job at listening to what my needs were and recommending a top-of-the-line home automation system that fit my budget. Mr. Millers knowledge and expertise gave me piece of mind and I have been nothing short of amazed at how incredible my new home theater system sounds.

As if being unable to make the system work wasn't enough, it appears as if Jim Miller has been changing the programming on my system since we parted ways. Light programs that were actually working no longer work.
I cannot stress how dangerous it would be to use Desert Sound and Security. They are obviously inept as well as unprofessional. Feel free to email me and I'll give you a first-hand demonstration of my non-working system.
