At the county clerk's suggestion, I walked from the Courthouse to Tulsa Abstract to ask them to look over a transfer on death form I had completed for my property. The clerk on duty refused to look at the form, stating that doing so would be "giving legal advice." It was a simple online form I had downloaded from the prepaid legal services website. Because of the individual's discourteous tone, I am considering removing titles of two properties housed at Tulsa Abstract.
